Under your skin pvp God roll Reddit

This. Enhanced hip fire and enhanced opening shot make this bow a peek shot monster. It’s so good, I ego challenge snipers are the regular. Not always successful, but still.

I’d argue for decreasing draw time as much as possible through elastic string and a draw time masterwork.

Fiberglass arrow shaft for sure, to pump accuracy as much as possible as well, since stability doesn’t matter much for bows.

My main set up recently is this exact under your skin paired with huckleberry. It’s a surprisingly versatile and impactful load out, if you are able to stay mindful of shotgun and fusion rifle users in your lobby. Keep a distance while mostly using the bow and hot swap (thanks ophidian) to huckleberry when you’re being rushed. If you’re a good enough shot and can backpedal away from apes competently, you can handle most any situation that will come at you.

There was a time when I really never thought bows were viable. Until I saw this d2 pvp legend absolutely destroy everyone with high skilled movement and bows. His plays to me were so astonishing that I decided to adopt a bow to pvp. So i used a low draw accrued redemption and I fell in love with it. I was even more hyped when I saw Under Your Skin, and safe to say its my most favourite weapon bar none in this game. But im conflicted with the pvp perk choices. For the 3rd column I see Archers Tempo and Hipfire Grip, and for 4th I see Successful Warmup and Opening shot.

As a bow main, which perks would you suggest to use in a pvp game? Im going as far as taking it to Trials (already am :3). And if I could get an Enhanced version of a perk, which one would it be? I would also be happy if you could give a good justification for it too, so that I understand the perk and its benefits well. PS, I want to mention that I dont use bow with another primary, as i feel disabled when im in out-of-range scenarios like Shotgun range, so i use shotty. Also I am a natural ape :D.

As of the moment I am using Archers Tempo and Opening shot (no enhanced versions, ill wait until i get an opinion).

612 draw time is incorrect. Use Elastic String with AT+Warmup and a draw time masterwork to drop that shit to 576. Use icarus grip mod if hunter/floaty build on other classes, targeting adjuster/hipfire on others, depending on your preferred aim style. Proceed with shredding unsuspecting guardians at any range (ideally not close cause shotguns are still way too popular). Pairs beautifully with movement exotics, or anything that enhances durability (renewals, wormhusk, citan's), or void damage/invis exotics.

In PvE replace the mod with major spec, use a volatile well build and you can save your kinetic and heavy for exclusively boss damage, the bow will ruin everything else.

In other news, I'm sad we can't craft a Biting Winds, I've been 4/5 on that bow several times and can't get the godroll after dozens of drops.

So, Under you skin is an amazing bow. It kinda feels like Hush. So what you are all using on it?

Personally, I like Elastic String + Straight Fletching. I think Under your skin does need some nudge more in Accuracy, so that combo takes the cake.

And now my doubts:

Archer's Tempo is probably the best perk for the gun, but Hip Fire is also great if you want to shoot like Hush.

Now, Warm-up or Explosive Head are also great.

All those combinations are really good. Personally, I think I will go to Archer Tempo + Warm Up, but I would love to see a craftable bow with Archer Tempo and Hip Fire in the future.

Idk this gun is great and I really wish changing perks on a craftable gun was not that expensive.

I switch in between SW and opening shot, but I always have hipfire grip.

You'll have to really practice to get hipfire crit shots down, but it is, at least for me, night and day difference with HipFire grip on. It's so much better taking duels with it because you can strafe faster than your opponents and feel confident in your shots. I generally have 576 draw time as well with this with a reload mod to take those duels efficiently.

Overall, os is more consistent and is better in 3s, SW is good if you plan to only slay with the bow and is better in 6s (if you're accurate). If you have trouble hitting your hip fire shots, or your shots at all, I recommend going with opening shot for now until you get it down. And then if you have the materials swap in between that and successful warm up only when you feel really confident in taking your shots.

Opening shot though, I will say has netted me some absolutely bonkers shots. I generally main bow and sidearm, and I value consistency more, so I use opening shot.

Archers tempo and SW sound interesting on paper, but in reality they cancel each other out, so it's better to have one or the other.
