At a basic level, since both the player and dealer cards are selected randomly, the odds of winning a round are almost equal for both: The chance of ending up with the highest card on the table is roughly 46.3%
Does war card game ever end?Each player starts with 26 cards, so if there are no wars and one player wins every hand, the game will last 26 turns. For every turn that player loses, they must win an additional hand to cancel the loss, so the game still requires an even number of turns.
Do you start with cards in War of the Ring?DRAW STEP (PAGE 20) Each Free Peoples player draws 3 cards, each Shadow player draws 4 cards. The starting player token is passed to the next player. Once per game, as an action, discard your Ring token to draw 2 cards. If unused, it is worth 1 victory point.
What is the highest value card in war?The ranking of the cards is from ace (high) down to six (low), except that a six beats an ace. In other words, if a six and an ace are played the six counts as the highest card and wins the trick, but if a six is played an no one played an ace the six counts as lowest.
