What did Wein tell to King Gruyere?

Can you people tell me what did Wein sell in that part? I am really curious about that. Though i expect its selling kingdom thing.

it's still not revealed in the light novels....but there could be 2 possibilities

1) Win all over the continent and end the discrimination towards flahms and create a peaceful life for his sister and nynm
2) Sell his country and go to empire and live life there with nynm and his sister.

But I think he said the 1st one that's why that fat guy became so excited and wanted to see how'd wein do that

And even if wein said he wanted to sell the country, there was no reason for them to cut the audio coz that's the thing we know from episode 1.

Yeah i agree second thing is more possible than 1, and I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to make that state more like Roman Republic

I feel like Wein's "censored" declaration was a bit too long and too serious to just be "juice up the kingdom and sell it off". One thing the show makes clear is that Wein's not the type for simple, straightforward plans. He may present it as such, though, but I definitely think his intentions have something to do with his royal family's past and ties to the Levetian religion, and the religion's influence in the continent. Even if he became the richest person in the whole continent, if he married Ninym (which I assume is also part of his plans) other heads of state/religious figures would make a target out of her and pass on his selling of the kingdom or anything that would paint him on a bad light as "the devil's influence", which would lead to persecution/harassment/etc. I think for him to actually sell off his kingdom and live the rest of his life leisurely and with Ninym in a way that would make both of them happy, he'd have to bring massive changes to the kingdom of Natra and the continent in its entirety.

In any case, all that's just endgame stuff, which I think is great to have there slowly developing in the background, but the show itself is loads of fun and just satisfying to watch from a more surface-leveled perspective. Really just gotta have some lighthearted stuff from time to time. Might even consider picking up the LN at some point.

What the hell did I just watch. Wein's "bluff" was exceedingly dumb and I can't believe it actually worked. Like wtf that poison s*** just got pulled out of nowhere. Maybe if Wein had orchestrated something to actually make it believable (false reports of people in Delunio starting to get sick, have a live sample of a yellow cloth that is actually poisoned, etc. etc.) then it might have been a believable plan.

The girls are all quality, Ninym, Loa, and Zeno are great, Gruyere's daughter seems great too though we barely see her, but the rest is just mehh. I agree it started out great with some actually pretty creative battle tactics being employed in the battle for the mines, but after that it just became a "this is smart because the show tells you it's smart" show.

6.5/10. Could have been an 8/10 with how it started but it just became mehhh.

The villains are so dumb and the show can't actually explain why Wein is a genius aside from his grades. He's just a guy who can think things through

Proper LN flow was:

Wien mentioned the younger generation actually like the Eastern/Natre/yellow products, Sirgis thought direct opposite to eastern influence would cause unrest and civil war between the conservatives and "yellow band" but his country would be able to handle it. Wien countered with no, he didn't plan for civil war but the progressive poison that was laced with dyes, with actual illness to back it up. The illness wasn't actually caused by the yellow dye but the fact younger folks stayed night and the yellow clothings are so light and thin, they got sick from having a cold. Sirgis is now stuck with a choice of civil war or dying citizens, plus whatever anime had mentioned like weaken army and could be attacked by others.

This show needs double the length

Sell by date is NOT the expiration date. It is a warranty date if the product is in its undamaged original packaging.

Started well and then the anime kinda burns out slowly. Just like realist anime, the villains are dumb down to make MC look like a genius. While I can understand the extreme pace of the anime butchered the flow, if it ever does get a second season, it'll suffer the same fate as realist anime. Info dump after info dump.

Imagine if Zelenksy told Lukashenko "I've poisoned a large number of your populace and they'll be dead soon. So you'll ally with me and we'll now go kill Putin, right? Cool. Cool cool cool."

What exactly would've kept the imprisoned King from just killing MC with his bare hands and/or the knife and fork he was eating with before any guards could intervene?

I guess MC's desire is probably bringing down the Levetian religion or something.

Can't say I really enjoyed MC's convoluted plot-armor-dependent plans, but I did like that some villains at least were killed (even if it was an extremely reckless thing to do in some cases.) 7.3/10

That wouldn't have been entertaining to him at all.

I thought he gave a truthful answer, and said that he just wanted to sell the country then take it easy.

He wracked up all these accomplishments and became the talk of the entire continent, all just so he could take it easy? That seems pretty entertaining. And at the very least, the king said he couldn't die until he found out if whatever Wein said is actually true.

Glad Gruyere was actually spared. I really like him. He was very entertaining.

The king himself. I mean, what exactly would he have to gain by doing that?
Sure, he was willing to die just to one-up Wien, but that doesn't mean he actually wants to die (and he was probably at least half bluffing, anyway, to try and force some answers out of Wein and so that he could feel he claimed at least a small victory).
Plus he's taken quite an interest in Wein and I doubt he would want to snuff out such an entertaining person so soon (at least not so ignominiously and anticlimactically).

That's a little bit better but I still think it's not very believable. I mean yellow cloth contributing to causing colds is kinda ehh what. Would have been better if there was an actual light/non-lethal epidemic going on in Delunio, and Wein just happened to notice via news from the merchants or something and he used that to his advantage.

Or better yet I think it should have been a situation where Wein overwhelmed the guy with so much immediate information that the guy simply had no time to think things through and find glaring holes with all the evidence Wein presented. It would have combo'd perfectly with Wein "timing" the news about Natra losing making it seem like the Delunio leader guy HAD to make a decision right away.

Who did Wein end up with?

The Genius Prince's Guide: Wein Decides to Marry Lowa - With a Twist.

What is Wein Salema arbalest desire?

Although he is a genius politician, strategist, and swordsman among other things, he's actually lazy and pessimistic at heart; to the point that Wein has expressed his desire to sell his motherland and live a self-sufficient life because of his belief that Natra is a weak country.

Does Lowa like Wein?

With her mission successful Lowa calls off her engagement to Wein, though Ninym tricks her into confessing she likes Wein.

Is the genius Prince Guide harem?

It has some romance, but it's also a harem in the literal sense- the protagonist eventually becomes romantically involved with everyone in his harem.
