What does it mean to dream of your partner cheating Reddit

Having a dream about an SO cheating gives me an awful feeling and I know many other girls/women experience this--but why is it so hard to shake off sometimes??

For me personally, I think it's because I am in this in between stage of being in a relationship and not and once before he has reinforced his "singleness" by sleeping with another girl, but this was before we had an agreement to be exclusive. Maybe I'm still hanging on to some of that anxiety? :/

Anyway, what's your experience with cheating dreams and how do you deal with them?

Hey guys, I'm (F) 20 years old and my boyfriend is also 20. We've been together for one year and four months. I know this sounds crazy and probably the most minuscule problem, but here it goes: For the past couple of nights I've been having these horrible dreams about my boyfriend breaking up with me after college graduation because "it would be too hard to stay in a relationship", and another dream about him cheating on me emotionally with a girl I know from school.

I know these are dreams, but at the same time dreams usually hold some kind of message. Our relationship as of now is fine, we're living our separate lives in each of our hometowns and will see each other again in August. One reason why I dreamed about cheating (even though I know he would never do it and he has never given me a reason to not trust him), is because I've been cheated on psychically and emotionally in the past, and it was probably the worst kind of betrayal I've ever experienced.

Another reason I might be having these dreams is that sometimes, from the way my boyfriend talks, it seems obvious he doesn't see a future with us. Now I'm not saying he should be thinking about engagement or anything crazy like that (too young, too soon), but for some reason I don't feel any reassurance that we will continue to stay together for the next couple of years. Is this normal or am I just overreacting (I'm most likely overreacting)? I would personally love to keep dating him for as long as possible, but it makes me uncomfortable if he isn't going to be serious about it or feel the same way.

I should mention that I'm not a good dream interpreter and what I think my dreams mean probably isn't even correct at all, I'm just merely guessing.

My boyfriend[20m] and I[19f] have been together for 4 years. He’s always had a friend that’s a girl since we started dating. From the get go she never seemed to like me. I once tried having a conversation with her about why she doesn’t like me and responded with that his ex was better for him than I without even knowing me at all.

Her and my boyfriend have been very on and off in terms of speaking with each other and being friends. Two months ago he told me that she had reached out and that they were going to brunch together the following day. I had a negative reaction because I had completely removed her from my life and all of a sudden it had resurfaced.

Recently I’ve been having these dreams where her and my boyfriend are being intimate while I watch them. It’s been giving me a great amount of anxiety and though he hasn’t been in any contact with her nor given me any cause to believe he’s cheating I still have these intrusive thoughts from the dreams. Is this cause for concern; should I have a conversation with my boyfriend about these dreams?

I usually wake up and can’t shake the clear pictures of her with other guys. Sometimes it takes me a while before I forgive her for what her dream self has done. I know it’s ridiculous but there’s clearly some part of me that either doesn’t trust her/is scared of being cheated on/or is incredibly insecure. Does this happen to anyone else? How do you look at it or think about it to help you and your relationship?

Hi, if you are still reading comments. First of all, do some divination there is a spread called ''Four knight defense'' for that kind of things, for a more comprehensive spread try the Golden Dawn Spread but you have to know elemental and planetary dignities in order to understand it, tarot will probably tell you it's just an insecurity. If that happens, try this: Gather valerian root, lemon balm, passiflora and skullcap, mix them together and create a tea drink it before going to bed. Now powder and mix thyme, hops flower, althaea, marjoram. Create an ink with saffron, rose, lavender, musk and create fifth pentacle of the Moon with it during the sunrise of a monday (first hour of sunrise for example if Sun rises at 06:00, you will need to finish it during 06:00-07:00) or full moon rise (same rule applies). After that consecrate it in the name of any Lunar goddess (you still need to do that during same hour). Then put half of the powders to your cauldron and boil them, then put the pentacle of moon inside of it and stir in clockwise motion while chanting, all ink should be dissolved. Now, remove blank paper, fill the bathtub and pour the tea you have created. Wait 10-15 minutes, then pour bathwater over your head saying something similar to ''Good nights sleep shall come to me, if he is true in love which I will see'', do that 9 times. Close your eyes and try to focus (maybe a bit more chanting lol). After you are done and all incense is burned. Dismiss the quarters, put powders on corners of your room to four corners of your bed. Also put remaining bath water (a couple drops is enough) and ashes from incense in middle. Try to sleep and share what you experienced here.
