The Nintendo 3DS has four different LED notification colors that signal various system statuses:

Blue: You have received a SpotPass notification.
- The Notification LED may not light for some types of data.
Green: You have received StreetPass data.
Orange: A friend has connected online.
Red: Battery power is low (this light blinks continuously when power is very low).

What does an orange-yellow light mean on top of the 3DS? >_>

No, not the wifi switch, the extra light that flashes red when your battery is low.

I think Blue means spotpass notification, Green means streetpass notification, Red means low battery, but I don't know what orange-yellow means. It went on for a sec while I was playing MK7 online, then turned off >_> Is it a friends list thing?

Yes. It means either:
A friend is online
They've changed their 'message'
They're using another software/finished using their current software
They're now available to join online

I may be wrong about the 3rd one, but basically it's when your Friend List is updated in someway, as mentioned above, as far as I know.

In short, if your 3DS is plugged in, and you see an orange light, it's NOT fully charged. If your 3DS is plugged in, and you DO NOT see an orange light, it IS fully charged.

What do the lights mean on Nintendo 3DS?
