The Penninsula Daily News reports two people died when their 1996 Saturn crossed the centerline of U.S. 101 near Shelton, Washington and struck the front of the 2008 Kenworth logging truck Dewey was driving.

Killed were Stephen John Jacobson, 65, and a 64-year-old female passenger; she was not identified pending notification of family. Both were from Bremerton, Washington.

Dewey was uninjured in the collision that occurred at about 5:30 a.m.

Dewey posted this on his Facebook page today about 3:45 p.m. Eastern time:
