However, Slugma spawns are currently more frequent due to the event, offering more chances for players to capture one and find its Shiny form. How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Slugma in Pokémon GO

There are a few ways to find a Shiny Slugma in Pokémon GO, both during and after the Mountains of Power event. The first way is through Wild Encounters. Slugma will appear in the wild more frequently during the Mountains of Power event. During this time, players can use either a Lure Module or Incense. These items will further increase Slugma's spawn rate, allowing for more Slugma to appear at a time. The more that appear, the higher the chance trainers have of finding its Shiny form.

The other easiest way to capture Shiny Slugma is to complete the "Walk 1 km" Field Research challenge. If they successfully complete this task, they will be rewarded with a Slugma encounter. The Slugma in this encounter also has the chance to appear Shiny. Players will need to continue swiping at PokéStops to hunt for this task.

Overall, finding a Shiny Slugma in Pokémon GO will require time and patience. There's also a chance for Slugma to have its own Pokémon GO Community Day event down the line. A Community Day will also make it much easier to encounter a Shiny Slugma.
