It is not that hard to find this plant that will work for you throughout the game. Because you collect garlic from plants. However, not all plants produce garlic, even if they look the same from the outside. That’s why you have to go to the right place.

If you want to find garlic, the first place you should go is Everfall.

As you know, the name of the region in the New World universe is Aeternum. And Everfall is located right in the middle of this geography. This area, often populated by beginner creatures, is a great place to find garlic.

You have to go to the west or east coast of Everfall to find plants that produce garlic. You will be able to harvest garlic when you harvest the areas marked on the map above. Especially if you stay on the east coast, you will soon wander into the second geography where you can find garlic. And that area is Brightwood.

If you are not at least level 27 and above, you may want to stay away from Brightwood. Unlike Everfall, this one is full of more challenging creatures. And the areas near the south west coast have plenty of garlic.

You can harvest the plants and find the garlic you need by visiting the marked areas on the map. Note that you must have a sickle to do this. But I have good news, especially for new players, that you don’t need to be at a certain harvest level to collect garlic.

Note: With the new updates, many spawn points have been added to the First Light region for new players to find garlic more easily.

Where is Garlic in New World?

You can find Garlic by harvesting Herbs only in Everfall currently. When you harvest any herbs in Everfall, you have a good chance to also get Garlic along with your Hyssop. Garlic is also in the game files as available in Brimstone Sands… however, this zone is not released yet in New World as of 10/2/2021. It also shows that it should appear in Great Cleave, but there are no actual Herb spawn locations in this region. This means you only have Everfall to get Garlic.

Everfall Garlic Farming Route

In Everfall you can farm Hyssop, Basil, Sage, and Garlic in New World. Everfall is not the best region to farm Herbs, as it only has 2 general areas with Herbs in them and they are quite far apart. Generally it will probably be easier to go to other regions to farm Spices and Hyssop. However, since this is a full guide, we will show the spots anyway.
