Las Vegas Strip staple Lorena Peril will perform the national anthem for the South Point 400 respectively for the fall NASCAR Weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Peril, star of the long-running Las Vegas show Fantasy, will perform the national anthem before the start of the South Point 400 race. Known for being one of The Strip’s busiest national anthem singers, Peril will add Las Vegas Motor Speedway as a new sporting venue to her impressive resume of national anthem performances.

LVMS’s fall 2022 NASCAR weekend begins at The Bullring with the Star Nursery 150 ARCA Menards Series West race on Friday, October 14. Also, on Friday, fans will be admitted free to the superspeedway for Xfinity Series practice and qualifying. The races will continue on the superspeedway for the Alsco Uniforms 302 NASCAR Xfinity race on Saturday, October 15, and the race weekend will end with the South Point 400 on Sunday, October 16.

LABELLE WILL RETURN TO NASHVILLE’S LISTENING ROOM ON OCTOBER 22,

NASHVILLE, TN—Country up and coming songwriter/entertainer Jesse Labelle will be performing the national anthem to kick off a three-day NASCAR event at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee on September 15th.  The 162,000 capacity venue is hosting the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Unoh 200 & Busch Beans 200 ARCA Race, the NASCAR Xfinity Series Food City 300 Race and the NARCAR Cup Series: Bass Pro Shops Night Race on September 15-17 and Fox Sports Network (FS1) will broadcast Labelle’s performance and the races.

Labelle has had a series of set backs that he overcame in the last couple of years.  The 2020 tornado destroyed his home.  The pandemic ended his touring success opening for Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Eric Church, Jason Andean and Brooks & Dunn and his cancer diagnosis has gone into remission.  Labelle used the pandemic time to write with some of Nashville’s top songwriters and brought his new material to the biggest country festival in America when he performed at Stagecoach in May.  2022 is proving to be a banner year for Labelle who will have a series of new music and forthcoming major announcements rolling out throughout the year.

The “Encanto” Voice Actress Will Enchant the Crowds Before the NASCAR Cup Series’ Drivers Take to the Track in Homestead Miami Speedway’s NASCAR Playoff Return

MIAMI, Fla. (Sept. 19, 2022) – Afro-Latin singer, songwriter and Miami native Adassa will perform the National Anthem at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 23, prior to the start of the Dixie Vodka 400 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race.

Adassa will display her impressive four-octave vocal range in her rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” as part of the pre-race ceremonies on Sunday afternoon. Soon after her performance, the sounds of roaring engines will fill the iconic South Florida venue, as the 1.5-mile track makes its long-awaited playoff return at 2:30 p.m. ET.

“We’re extremely proud to have Adassa return to her roots of South Florida to sing the national anthem prior to the start of the Dixie Vodka 400 which returns to the NASCAR Playoffs,” said Homestead Miami Speedway President Al Garcia. “Her lovely singing voice just adds to the fantastic lineup of entertainment and events we have scheduled for our October race weekend.”

Adassa first stepped on to the entertainment scene after landing the lead in McDonald’s “Me Encanta” campaign, and later appeared in commercial roles for brands like TOYOTA, Proctor and Gamble’s Secret. From there, she continued to rise to stardom, being featured in songs and performances with international sensations such as Pitbull, Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, Daddy Yankee, Ciara, Missy Elliott, Luis Fonsi and many others.

Last year, the bilingual voice actress played the character Dolores Madrigal in Disney’s Academy Award winning film “Encanto.” She, along with her other “Encanto” castmates, took to the stage at the 94th Oscars in March earlier this year to preform the film’s hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”

Multi-platinum, country music artist Kip Moore will get the Sunday pre-race festivities started by performing the Dixie Vodka 400 pre-race concert.

The highly anticipated Homestead-Miami playoff weekend gets rolling on Saturday with back-to-back races, starting with the Baptist Health Cancer Care 200, the last race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ Playoffs Round of 8. It is set for a green flag start at 1 p.m. ET. Then at 4:00 p.m., drivers in the NASCAR Xfinity Series face off in the Contender Boats 300 Playoffs’ Round of 8.

On Sunday, NASCAR Cup Series’ best will go head-to-head in 267, action-packed laps in the Dixie Vodka 400. The playoff race is the second-to-last race in the Cup Series’ Playoffs Round of 8. If a playoff eligible driver wins, he will advance to the Championship 4 at Phoenix in November.
