Why is Angels in the Outfield not on any streaming service?

What Is “Angels In The Outfield” About?

Angels in the Outfield is a 1994 American family sports fantasy comedy-drama film directed by William Dear. It is a remake of the 1951 film of the same name.

Foster kid Roger (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) loves the Anaheim Angels, even though they’re the worst team in the major leagues. His estranged dad promises to reunite the family if the Angels make it to the World Series, so Roger decides to ask for some divine help and prays that his favorite team will turn things around. Soon, a real angel named Al (Christopher Lloyd) shows up in response to Roger’s prayers, and Anaheim’s hopeless coach (Danny Glover) is shocked to see his team on a winning streak.

Okay serious question, why is Angels in the Outfield (a pure classic) not on Disney+ nor streaming on any site? I know Disney+ can't stream if other services have the current streaming rights but Angels in the Outfield is not streaming anywhere. Why would it not be on Disney+ if it is a Disney movie?

I can't seem to find any other movies in which this is the case but I'm sure there are some. I was hitting some 90's classics last week and was shocked to see Tall Tale available (again, classic) but not Angels in the Outfield which was by far a more popular film with an all-star cast of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christopher Lloyd, Danny Glover and Tony Danza.

My VHS copy is just not cutting it anymore.

There is a lot of content from HBO Max for $14.99 a month, such a subscription is ad-free and it allows you to access all the titles in the library of HBO Max. The streaming platform announced an ad-supported version that costs a lot less at the price of $9.99 per month.

As of now, Angels in the Outfield is not available to watch for free on Amazon Prime Video. You can still buy or rent other movies through their service.
