Will there be a Season 6 Jersey Shore: Family Vacation?

When the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation ended in March 2022 with a promo letting viewers know the season was over, fans were a tad disappointed.

Did that mean the entire season or just the first part of Season 5? Viewers were left wondering about Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 6 and when they would get more episodes.

So, is there a 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' Season 6?

There hasn't yet been an announcement about Season 6 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. But luckily for fans, that doesn't necessarily mean this is the end of the guidos as we know it.

The last few seasons before this were split into two parts. And because Season 5 followed suit, it means Season 5 Part 2 of Jersey Shore Family Vacation is coming soon. Or, to be more exact, it premieres on MTV on June 23, 2022 at 8 p.m. EST.

Will Ronnie be in the second part of 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' Season 5?

Before Season 5 premiered, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro announced that he planned to step away for the show for mental health reasons. But it was later revealed that he had plans to return at some point during Season 5. Since the first half of the season didn't include longtime cast member Ronnie, will the second?

In April 2022, The Sun reported that Ronnie was filming part of the season with the rest of the cast. So there's a good chance his Jersey Shore Family Vacation return will be part of the show once Season 5 Part 2 premieres.

Season 6 of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' probably won't happen for a while.

Even though fans will get more Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episodes before 2022 is over, Season 6 itself probably won't premiere until 2023. That's not the worst news, though, since fans are getting Season 5, Part 2.

There's also the off-chance that our favorite "meatballs," Deena and Nicole, will make the web show they keep teasing every time they get drunk.

In the March 17, 2022, episode, Deena and Nicole hosted a fake talk show called The Meatballs, during which they interviewed Angelina and took a fake call from a fan. It was hilarious and they vowed to finally make it happen "in real life."

Whether or not it happens in some capacity remains to be seen, but it would certainly give fans the content they need between seasons.

Unpopular opinion: I’m hype about the buckhead shore…one of the reasons…finally showing some diversity…ATL is the capital of Black excellence. Melting pot, mass amount of transients who made it home. A revolutionary city that embraces all culture and sets trends.

There's a new show in the 'Jersey Shore' franchise.

Right after the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 5 Part 2 premiere, MTV will air the series premiere of Buckhead Shore. It takes a brand new group of real life friends in Buckhead, Ga., or what is referred to as the "Beverly Hills of the South," and follows them for a summer of fun, drama, and romance.

But first, fans will get to reunite with the OGs on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Will there be a Season 6 Jersey Shore: Family Vacation?
As we get prepared for tonight’s Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 5 finale, why not think about season 6?

On paper, it feels largely like another season is a sure thing, and we say that mostly on the basis of what we’ve seen from this franchise already over the years. It is one of the most success things that MTV has, and the network has yet to promote this show in any way that suggests we’re closing in on a series finale.

There’s also another factor here, as Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino said on his podcast Here’s the Sitch (this had to be the name, right?) that there is more of the show coming. MTV has yet to publicly renew it, but we imagine that there are already a lot of plans behind the scenes and the series has a future. Even though the network has pressed pause on Floribama Shore, they know the value still of the original and some of these personalities. Remember here that Vinny is an active part of Dancing with the Stars this season!

Provided we get an official renewal soon, we tend to think that new episodes of Jersey Shore Family Vacation will come in early 2023. For now, know that there is a renewal coming next week, and you can get some more news on that courtesy of the attached synopsis:

TV’s greatest Italian family returns to the reunion stage and they’re not holding back… is Angeliners finally divorced? Is old Sitch gone forever? Tacos and dramers are on the menu in Part 1 of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

We never thought that this show would have the longevity that it does, but a lot of that just speaks to the nostalgia that permeates through these people and this world. It’s fun, and the perfect amount of TV escapism.
