The fifth season kicks off with Gabi and Josh try to prove to everyone that they won’t let feelings get in the way of their new arrangement as “friends with benefits.” The fifth season of Young & Hungry averaged a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 352,000 viewers. Freeform TV shows. While Young & Hungry was originally given a season orders of 10 episodes, eventually, Freeform doubled the total order to 20. A couple of weeks before that, the cable channel decided not to move forward with the proposed spin-off. Were the two decisions related? Although the fourth season ratings saw a small increase over the previous year, will the sitcom continue to build its audience? The ratings are way down but Freeform has cancelled Baby Daddy so, that may mean the network will want to keep this show around for a sixth season. We’ll see. Did Gabi and Josh get married?However, Gabi proposes to Josh after she finds out he was going to do it to her and she asks him to move to Seatle with her. Although the question is unanswered, it has been confirmed that Josh would have said yes and they would have gotten married after the final episode.
Why did young and hungry end on a cliffhanger?Osment told TVLine that ending the finale on a cliffhanger made sense because, at the time, the cast believed “without a doubt” that a sixth season would be ordered. “But plans changed a little bit, which happens,” she said. “You can't predict anything with television, so we had to adjust our trajectory a little bit.”
Does Gabi get pregnant on young and hungry?Gabi told Sofia that she can't be pregnant and have a baby and that she is still a baby. Gabi looked at the test and she fell on the floor and started crying but those were the happy tears becasue she find out that she's not pregnant. everyone then left their plates on Gabi.
