Whether it is a multiplayer raid, war, or single-player campaign, Clash of Clans is all about coming up with strategies to decimate an opponent’s base. There are a variety of different troops and spells available for creating armies.

In June 2018, Supercell added a new type of special weapon called Siege Machines to Clash of Clans. All Siege Machines have different abilities, and only one can be used per attack. Siege Machines house clan troops obtained via donations from clanmates.

Siege Machines are available to Town Hall 10 and 11 through donations, while Town Hall 12 and above can construct them using Workshop.

Siege Machines in Clash of Clans: Explained

Currently, there are six different Siege Machines in Clash of Clans. This article explains and guides you through all Siege Machines in Clash of Clans.

Wall Wrecker

Wall Wrecker is the first Siege Machine added to Clash of Clans. It has a maximum level of 4 and has 7000 hitpoints at level 4. Wall Wrecker is a simple and effective Siege Machine that will help your army push to the core of any base. As clear from its name, Wall Wrecker deals extra damage to walls and breaks them easily.

Its main target is Town Hall and decimates anything in the way. With proper tanking and support, Wall Wrecker can make it to the Town Hall while creating a path for the rest of the army. After reaching the Town Hall, it breaks down and deploys clan castle troops that take out the village’s core.

Battle Blimp

Battle Blimp is an aerial Siege Machine with a max level of 4, with 4500 hitpoints. Like Wall Wrecker, Battle Blimp also targets the Town Hall and flies straight towards it. Battle Blimp also drops small bombs in its path for a little additional damage. While walls do not obstruct it, Battle Blimp can fall to seeking air mines and X-Bows.

Clash of Clans players can use Warden’s Eternal Tome to give immunity to Battle Blimp while it makes to the core and drops all clan castle troops. Players can also use Battle Blimp to clear compartments that may come in the path to Town Hall.

Stone Slammer

Stone Slammer is the first Siege Machine that targets buildings other than the Town Hall. It attacks defences by dropping powerful projectiles that all shatter the surrounding layers of walls. At max level 4, Stone Slammer has a decent 6500 hitpoints.

Stone Slammer is usually used with air attacks like Mass Electro Dragons, Lavaloons, Mass Super Dragons. If the heroes or the army can clear the Town Hall, players can use Stone Slammer to help destroy defensive buildings.

Siege Barracks

Siege Barracks is arguably the best Siege Machine for funnelling troops into a base. When deployed, it spawns a P.E.K.K.A followed by a train of Wizards. At max level 4, 11 Wizards come out of Siege Barracks.

Protected by the tanking from P.E.K.K.A, the Wizards dish out tons of damage and clear one corner of the base. Eventually, Siege Barracks runs out of health and deploys clan castle troops to help further with funnelling.

Log Launcher

Log Launcher launches logs in the direction of Town Hall that deal damage to walls and buildings in its path. When used together with 4 Earthquake spells, Log Launchers can easily open multiple compartments of the base.

Log Launchers do not work well against Town Hall level 14 bases as builders can repair the damaged buildings. However, this siege machine works like a charm against Town Hall 13 or lower bases with compact layouts having multiple compartments.

Flame Flinger

Flame Flinger is the newest addition to the Siege Machine roster in Clash of Clans. It launches bundles of tiny flame spirits onto defences. It deals damage and creates a ring of fire on impact similar to the Lava Launcher in Builder Base.

Due to its slow movement speed, Flame Flinger stays behind during attacks and uses its long-range to demolish defensive buildings. Flame Flinger can be called a mix of other Siege Machines.

Like Stone Slammer, it targets defences while decaying slowly, similarly to Log Launcher and Siege Barracks. It also deals eight times more damage to walls, making it a great option for funnelling troops.
