How to hide Steam games from friends Reddit

how could I hide the only game I don't want to show from my game list? from Steam

So, I am aware there is a "hide" button on games in the library, but it seems it also hide the game from me. Is there a way to make sure my friends never know I own or play a certain game without blocking my entire profile?

So lets say I bought an inappropriate game just for fun, and I later realized the amount of embarrassment that would come from that if I ever got caught with a purchase of this game on my profile by my friends. So how could I hide this game from Recent Activity and not have it show up on notifications whenever I launch it and when I'm done with the game how can I keep it from being shown on games that I've played?

I've set all my profile privacy options to private and I've hid the game but that's about it aside from setting my profile to offline, but I've come here just in case there's more I can do before setting my account back to its default settings.

Like if you buy and play a cutesy japanese game and don't want your mates to see it.
Not me though, I only play manly games like uh, Doom... ha ha ha ha

Do you guys know how to hide certain games from friends while not putting it as hidden, I know it's dumb to complain about but I want all my games in my library easy for me to see but certain games, I don't want my friends to see. I don't want to have an all or nothing option like you can see all my games or none of them. I also don't want a separate page I have to go to just to play my hidden games.

So, I'm thinking about getting a game on steam (Ultimate Doom, not that it's relevant) but I don't want my friends to look at my steam library, you know how when you go to friends, then click on their games it shows all the games they have? Is there a way to hide the game I get from that list? If I'm not making sense, I'll try to clarify more.
