Battery bank wont recharge

I have my generator wired to the battery bank and my battery bank wired to my spot lights so no matter if i have the battery bank on or off i do not see the battery bank getting recharged . So when i have my battery bank on im using 60w of power now i turn on the generator to charge the battery bank the generator says 240 power and the battry bank now say 0w how is that possible shouldnt it still say 60w its like the generator took over as the source of power but the batteries dont recharge anyone have a clue what i might be doing wrong or is there a bug because this is boggling my mind!!!!!!!!!!!

It's full already? You're probably looking at the "POWER: 0" and thinking it's not working. That number is the current output - add a load (a light or some such) after the battery bank and it'll go up.

The current charge is represented by the "durability" of the individual batteries. Once you start draining, the first battery will start "taking damage". Once charging, it will get durability back slowly. Easiest way to see if it is charging is checking the sell price on the batteries, that will tick up slowly as the durability improves (all subject to change, since .. well, it looks quite silly as implemented... not surprised people get confused

Does anyone know how to recharge the Battery Banks? I can only find videos and messages about it that are out of date. With the A19.4 update, I can't find a Solar Bank at all. If they took this out of the game, then how are we supposed to charge the batteries? I have hooked up 2 different Battery Banks together and it charges one, while the other still decreases. I can't maintain a charge and it's close to another Blood Moon.

You should be able to hook up a generator to it. E.g.  generator (with gas, turned on and running) -> battery bank, with batteries in it, turned on -> rest of stuff

Solar banks are only sold at traders, only  way to ger one.  With Better Barter maxed out, you can start seeing them in secret stash earlier that you would without it.

I did something different.  Before I had solar panels, I had a generator bank hooked up only to battery banks.  It was my charging station.

When you open the battery bank you maybe notice the batteries inside arn't full anymore.

Just compare these with newly salvaged/looted ones and you notice the fuelbar.

You can replace the empty ones with new ones and use the empty ones for crafting. But that only would be a temporary solution.

You need to connect a generator to the battery bank to charge it.

So I connect my Generator to the Battery Bank and then connect the Battery Bank to anything else. Will the Generator recharge any batteries (Completely used up), or just somewhat used/ full batteries? The Battery Bank shows that it's not using any watts. The Generator is only connected to the Battery Bank and both are on. Will the Battery bank actually use Watts when more batteries are charged?

In that configuration, the generator will use a small amount of wattage to charge any batteries in the battery bank (completely used up too). If the generator runs out of gas or is turned off, the battery bank will take over.

It will if the watts of the generator are greater than the circuit.  The battery bank will use 5 watts to fully charge batteries in one day.  So ideally you want your generator to provide total circuit + 5 watts.

If the generator is less than the circuit, the battery bank will not charge any batteries.  Make sure everything is on.

Yep.

When the generator produce 500W and your stuff just need 300W, the battery pack will be charged with 200W.

And when you got solar panels, you replace the generator with them.

incorrect.  Generators and battery packs with 6x q6 batteries can only output a max of 300W.

Also, lets say you had a generator outputing 300 watts hooked up to a battery bank and your circuit total was only 100 watts after the battery bank.  The battery bank will only use 5 watts of the available 200 watts to charge up.

How do you charge a battery bank in 7 days to die?

To charge a Battery Bank attach it to an alternate power source (e.g. a Solar Bank) by right clicking the source with a wiring tool then right clicking the battery bank. Note the battery bank must be turned on for it to charge as while it is off it is considered bypassed so only acts as a relay.

Can you repair batteries 7 days to die?

Using the battery to supply power in the battery bank drains durability from the battery, and the durability of the battery can be restored by charging it in the battery bank.

How do you make a solar panel in 7 days to die?

Solar Cells cannot be crafted or looted; they must be bought from Secret Stash pages of Trader NPCs. Solar cells appear with a Barter level 4, even though Solar Banks require level 5. Higher quality the Solar Cells produce more power, but are significantly more expensive.
