Please try again later.Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 27, 2019 Mostly, this refrigerator is fine. The only problem is that the ice maker shuts itself off for no reason every month or so and there is no obvious way to turn it back on. We take out the manual, which is amazingly unhelpful and push various buttons - some of which are very well hidden. Eventually, the ice maker goes back on due to something we have done, but I have no idea what it is. Then we are fine until the next time it shuts off. You can put up with this crap or you can purchase a refrigerator other than Bosch. BTW - we also have the Bosch dishwasher and that is great (very quiet). So, buy the Bosch Dishwasher - just not the Refrigerator. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 8, 2020 The ice dispenser is a colossal disappointment. More than anything else, it's messy. No matter what cup, vessel, or bucket I put underneath, ice shards scatter all over the kitchen every single time I use it. Crushed or cubed, it doesn't matter. Even using a square, deep plastic container as wide as the opening pressed up against the dispenser's inner wall doesn't prevent ice from spewing all over. On top of that, it tends to jam. Its own ice cubes tend to become stuck together and jam in the chute, backing up everything above/behind it. When you open the door to try and clear it, the backlog of ice spills all over everywhere, but you're still left with the ice inside the chute/dispenser, which you either have to clear by hand or wait for it to slowly melt and drip water for hours until the pieces are small enough to fall out. There is no excuse for such poor design in a $2200 refrigerator. Absolutely terrible, and a real shock coming from a company like Bosch. This combined with the lousy performance of the 2020 model Benchmark dishwasher compared with the 2014 version of the same exact model (we left it behind at our old house) makes me wonder what's going on at Bosch. I used to be a devotee of their appliances, but now I will start looking elsewhere. They're too expensive for such poor quality. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 5, 2020 Unfortunately our builder chose Bosch appliances and we are having problems with all of them. We had the original refrigerator replaced and found that it also had an ice maker that doesn’t work. They tell you it has to be hooked up for at least 24 hours to know if it operates correctly so they leave and you’re stuck trying to handle this with customer service. Months later and this continues to drag along. The design is poor; water continues to drip after you pull your cup away and there is nothing to catch it and the freezer is very narrow. I don’t recommend any of the Bosch appliances. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 9, 2020 The chimes when you press a button (any button) are too loud. Like, “find my iPhone” loud. And cannot be turned off or reduced in volume. The ice maker makes too much noise. Now, not talking about the “dumping” noise when it
empties into the holding bucket. That’s about the same as any other fridge. No, this thing make a “whirring noise” about as loud as a garbage disposal for 10 seconds before It’s a lemon. Stay away from this model. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 27, 2020 Loudest ice maker in the world! Woke up my dogs every time it made ice!! Ice dispenser throws ice all over the kitchen except the actual cup! The shelves are not adjustable and you cannot for a gallon jug on the door. Lot of wasted space. I decided to return it after having it for less than 24 hours!
