First answer was right, the originals appear in their normal places in addition to the added rings in NG+. Show As I understand it, the achievement only requires one version each ring to have been found. Can you miss rings in ds3?If you miss a ring on your first playthrough, or even your second or third, you can still obtain on any following playthrough. Weather it's NG+2 or NG+20 all the rings stay where they originally are placed, they do not go away simply because you've continued playing.
Does ds3 get harder on NG+?8/10 Twice Stronger Enemies
Each time a player finishes the game and goes for NG+, souls become higher, and enemies become more vigorous. But the amount of buff these bad boys get is not too much, and it will take a player six playthroughs to be able to spawn twice as stronger enemies.

How do you get Havel ring +1 ds3?+1 Version (NG+): Archdragon Peak. From the Great Belfry bonfire, proceed down the stairs and make your way towards all the giant enemies on the left, they'll be patrolling near the only ruins you can see. The ring will be on a corpse in there.
