Connect a USB device to the USB port and playback starts automatically.

,Note

To play USB Video while a different source is playing, press [MEDIA] > [USB Video].
Video is not available while driving. (Because of traffic regulations, video is only available while the vehicle is stopped or the transmission lever is put to P position.)

Pause

You can pause the playing file.

Press [M] on screen.

Press [d] on screen to play it again.

Skip

You can play the previous or next file.

Position

Description

Press [C/V].
Pressing [C] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current file from the beginning.

Head unit

(or Steering wheel remote control)

Press [A SEEK/TRACK D] or [S/W].
Pressing [A SEEK] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current file from the beginning.

Search

You can rewind/fast forward to a specific point of a file.

Position

Press and hold [C/V] and then release at the point you want.

Head unit

(or Steering wheel remote control)

Press and hold [A SEEK/TRACK D] or [S/W] and then release at the point you want.

When you drag or touch the desired part on the progress bar, the music of the selected part plays.

Seek

You can play the file directly by searching for the desired file.

Turn FILE/TUNE button to search for a desired file.
If the desired file is displayed, press the FILE/TUNE button to play the file.

List

You can play the desired file by searching the file list included in USB.

Press [List].

Press the desired file.

Repeat

The current playing file is played repeatedly.

Press [
].

Select the desired mode by pressing [
] repeatedly.

File information

This feature shows the name, resolution and playback time information of the file.

Press [Menu] > [Info] or [
].

Press [Close].

Display settings

Press [Menu] > [Display settings].
For details, refer to “Display” part.

Sound settings

Press [Menu] > [Sound settings].
For details, refer to “Sound” part.

Hey all I'm new here so im not sure if this was already discussed...
My current car is an Audi and I know for my car im able to use the front screen to play DVDs or Avi files via USB.

Are we able to on the Telluride? And if so is there a mod to get it to work even while driving?

Someone in the kia telluride Facebook group was screen sharing his jail broken iPhone to his telluride screen live, playing movies and games. If you all want more info I’ll try and ask the guy for instructions, but I do remember him saying you would need a jail broken iPhone to do it.

You can probably do it will a jail broken pho

You can with an app called CarBridge on jailbreak phone, you can run any app on Carplay and aren't limited to what's available by default.

You can plug a USB drive and it only works in the USB port.

I connected my hard drive on the USB Port and was able to watch HD movies on the telluride screen. Worked just fine when the car is parked - "P-mode". But cannot watch the same when the car is in motion "D-mode"

Does it? Mine doesn't.
I have only USB Audio and no USB Video. I've tried .avi, .mp4, .mkv, and even .wmv, but none of them work.
I have 2021 SXP and received January 9, 2021. Did Kia change the software on 2021?

I think not having the USB Video App in the kia telluride is the problem. Because i have it, i think i am able to play the videos. Just FYI, i connected a 500 GB hard drive in the USB port, which has several HD movies. Worked just fine. It can be possible that the USB Video option is not available in specific country specs. I have the GCC specs, which i bought in Dubai. And i have a 2020 top of the range model.

Probably 'USB Video' App is not allowed in USA. However, I don't understand why since other cars have.
