Penn Foster Career School is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools, the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) and is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools.

Transfer Credits
Penn Foster gives financial and academic credit for High School transfer credits.

Compulsory Age Requirements
Any student who is of compulsory age must ensure the program satisfies the state and local education requirements in their school district, or students will be considered truant. You need to check the requirement of your school district to ensure the Penn Foster High School program satisfies these requirements.
