God of High School Season 2 trailer

Nicole Mejias of Crunchyroll said that the series was an easy sell as it evoked memories of “classic school battling anime” like Tenjho Tenge and fighting games, saying that the series has “top-notch” action with “gorgeous art,” along with “various martial arts and skills” from the main cast. The series we are talking about is The God of High School, whose first season aired in 2020. In this article, we are going to tell you everything you need to know about a potential second season of The God of High School.

The second season of The God of High School still hasn’t been confirmed yet. The first season aired in 2020 and was a pretty successful outing for both Crunchyroll and MAPPA. This, along with the popularity of the source material, makes The God of High School a very likely candidate for a renewal, but we do not think that it will happen before 2023.

The rest of this article is going to bring you all the known and unknown information related to a potential season 2 of The God of High School. You’re going to find out about its potential release date, whether there is a trailer, what the story could be about, and much more about this extremely popular new anime series.

The God of High School is a South Korean webtoon written by Yongje Park. The God of High School was first published on the Naver Webtoon on April 8, 2011, and has been ongoing ever since, recently entering one of its last arcs; it was one of the first webtoons to receive an English translation at the launch of the Line Webtoon app and website in July 2014.

An anime adaptation was announced in February 2020. MAPPA animated the series, with Sola Entertainment providing production management. The anime was directed by Park Sunghoo, with scripts by Kiyoko Yoshimura, Manabu Akita designing the characters, and Arisa Okehazama composing the music. Crunchyroll produced the series.

The opening theme was “Contradiction feat. Tyler Carter” by KSUKE, and the ending theme is “WIN”, performed by CIX. It premiered on July 6 and ended on September 28, 2020 on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and AbemaTV, after 13 episodes. If you remember our introduction, you’ll know that the anime adaptation was very popular, which certainly raises the question of whether The God of High School is going to return for a second season.

The original webtoon is fairly popular, which cannot be denied, and has a certain historical value as well. Sure, it’s not popular as some other similar titles, but it is still a notable title that attracts a lot of readers who want to enjoy its very specific story. This has to be added to the anime’s success as well.

Everything we know about the show’s popularity points to The God of High School coming back at one point or another, and we honestly think that The God of High School is a very likely candidate for a renewal. There is still enough unadapted material for the show to work on, and it success definitely merits at least a couple of additional seasons.

Taking all of this into account, The God of High School‘s future seems very good. The webtoon is quite popular, as was the anime series, all of which points to a very probable renewal in the near future. Based on our knowledge of the industry, the second season could appear in 2023, although we’ll have to wait for some official news in order to confirm this..

The God of High School Season 2 trailer

You now know all the facts and our thoughts related to The God of High School season 2, which means that you’ve probably deduced for yourselves that there is no trailer for the second season of The God of High School. This is because we do not know whether there will even be a second season of the show, which means that a trailer might not appear at all.

As we have said, The God of High School is a very likely candidate for a return. The webtoon series still has a lot of material up for adapting and the anime was quite popular when it aired back in 2020, but we have to wait and see whether there are actual plans for a continuation before we can make a proper prediction.

Taking into account everything we’ve said, a trailer for The God of High School is unlikely to come out this year (a proper one, at least, a teaser or PV trailer might appear this year, though). The earliest we could see a trailer is early 2023, but we would have to get confirmation of a second season sometime during 2022 for that to happen.

The God of High School Season 2 plot

At this moment, we do not know which parts of the webtoon series are going to be adapted in Season 2. Namely, the webtoon series has a somewhat specific structure when compared to traditional manga, which is why it is very difficult to determine these facts. What follows is a general overview of the show’s plot.
