Saturday’s clash is being billed as “On the Road to Undisputed,” and is going down in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Arena Saturday, Nov. 6.

Since Canelo Alvarez is ranked as Mexico’s top fighter at the moment, Azteca TV usually broadcasts his fights within the country for free. This means if you have an antenna and television set in Mexico, you can pick up the signal for all his fights. But after some digging, we were able to find secure live streams from Azteca.

This doesn’t work with ExpressVPN or some of our other recommendations at the moment, only NordVPN’s Mexican servers.

Though this trick has worked in the past, Canelo is quickly becoming one of boxing’s top draws. Azteca could be forced to cut off this stream. But since we were able to access the press conference and other promotional material this week, we figure it’s worth a shot to try and save some money.

Also remember that this broadcast would be in Spanish, while Showtime provides English-language commentary.

Can I Use a Free VPN to Watch Canelo vs. Plant?

For streaming live sports, we tend to stay away from recommending free VPNs. They’re better suited for other online activities. If you’re into gambling, BetMGM has Canelo favorited at -900 at the time of writing, with Plant as the +600 underdog. That means you would have to place a bet of $900 to earn $100 if Canelo wins. For every $100 you bet on Plant, you’d take in $600 if he won. Alvarez is also a -190 favorite to win by knockout or TKO.

These odds are steep considering Canelo is ranked as the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter across the globe. He tops the pound-for-pound lists by ESPN, The Ring, Boxing Writers Association of American and Box Rec.
