How do i get a new credit card

Thank you for supporting the NTUC/OCBC Plus! partnership. The co-branded NTUC & OCBC PLUS! Credit and Debit Cards, NTUC-OCBC Starter account and PLUS! savings account will be phased out. These products will cease to function on 1 February 2023.

Existing customers will be receiving an alternative card/bank account from 7th September 2022, as long as your account remains in good standing.

We would like to assure all our customers that you can continue to use your NTUC and/or OCBC Plus! Credit and/or Debit card till 31st January 2023 or until you activate your alternative OCBC 365 Credit and/or Debit Card from OCBC, whichever is earlier.

For NTUC-OCBC Starter Account and/or Plus! Savings Account, your account will be switched to an OCBC account automatically from 1 Oct 2022. As there is no change to your banking account number, your existing GIRO arrangements remains unchanged. You can also continue to access your banking balances using your NTUC and/or OCBC Plus! Credit and/or Debit Card till 31st January 2023 or until you activate your alternative OCBC 365 Credit Card and/or Debit Card from OCBC.

New-to-Bank applicants who use MyInfo to retrieve personal details and income information (CPF and Notice of Tax Assessment information), pass all screening steps and income checks are eligible for Instant Account Opening. The application must be submitted after 7am and before 8pm.

Existing-to-Bank applicants (with a UOB Principal Credit Card & Account) who apply via Internet Banking. Please note exclusions in Q2.

Applicants will receive a SMS notification to inform them that the Credit Card/Cashplus application(s) has/have been approved within minutes from submission.

For Credit Card applicants, you can login to UOB TMRW (Android version only) to digitise your credit card for contactless purchases. The physical card will be ready 2 working days after approval and will be sent via normal mail. If you require your card earlier, please call 1800 222 2121 for more information.

Due to the current covid-19 situation, there may be a delay in the processing of your card application. International Postage service by our mailing provider is also currently suspended until further notice. For urgent queries, please contact our call centre.

20K Welcome Miles: For the first 100 new-to-UOB credit card customers who successfully apply for a selected UOB credit card by 30 November 2022 or the first 200 new-to-UOB credit card customers who successfully apply for a selected UOB credit card by 31 December 2022 and they have spent a minimum of S$1,000 per month for 2 consecutive months from card approval date, they will receive either a one-time bonus credit of UNI$10,000 (equivalent to 20,000 miles).

20K Annual Fee Bonus Miles: For new-to-UOB Credit Cardmembers who successfully apply for a UOB PRVI Miles Card from 22 November – 31 December 2022 and have successfully registered to participate with first year annual fee payment of S$240 (subject to prevailing GST) via SMS.
