How do you remove the plastic screen protector from Apple Watch?

Guys, halp! I put a hard plastic case on my new Series 7 and now I can't get the bloody thing off. It's interfering with swipes and there's a couple of air bubbles under it (it's not even a sticky screen protector, just a hard shell, so I'm not sure how the air bubbles even got there). I want it off, but I'm not nearly strong enough; I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to break it, and I've thought about digging under the edges with a pair of scissors or my pliers but I'm scared to scratch the watch itself.

Any ideas?

EDIT: IT'S OFF!!!

Thanks for the advice, guys. It still took some doing (my thumbnails are sore) but I got it off (using the strap for leverage really helped) and I didn't even break the bloody thing. I threw it away, though; I'm not risking that again!

The case, I mean. I threw the case away, not the watch. /s

Question: How to safely remove an Armoursuit screen protector from an apple watch

I'm considering applying an armoursuit screen protector to my apple watch.

I would like to know if removal might cause damage to the screen.

I have found the apple watch screen to be rather more delicate than my iPhone 6s screen. Although the screen is supposed to be made of the same material as the iPhone 6s, and it may be as shatter resistant, there appears to be a softer coating. My plan is to cover the screen with a protector, but I'm concerned that the softer coating may come off if removed.

Thanks for your advice.

If you purchased the Watch brand new, yes, there is a piece of clear plastic protecting the back of the Watch. There should be an edge that you can grab with your fingers to remove it.

Thanks. I’m referring to plastic covering the circle with the sensors.

I understand. There should be a piece there as well. There has been on all the Watches I've purchased. If it looks dull, then there is a piece of plastic still on it. It should appear very shinny.

Actually no. I recently received two Apple Watch 7 in Stainless Steel and the way Apple packages them now, there is no plastic on the back of the watch to remove. You can watch any number of unboxing Apple Watch 7 reviews on YouTube and you won't see any packaged with plastic on the back side of the watch.

Thanks for that update lobsterghost1. I did not upgrade this time, as I did not see much difference in the Series 6 I currently have and the 7 that would cause me to what to upgrade. Hope that helps the OP.

Anytime Chris! I moved up to the 7 this year as we had Apple Watch Series 4 and it was just time to upgrade. Having been through a bad bout with Covid this year (even fully vaccinated), I wanted the VO2 sensor, which a Series 4 watch doesn't have.

Concur...FWIW, when I received my Apple Watch Series 7, the watch body was encased in a soft plastic pouch. There was nothing attached to the back of the watch body.
