Do you have to empty water from portable air conditioner?

Yes. All portable AC units accumulate moisture and need to be drained regularly. AC units both cool and reduce humidity. Gathered water needs to be drained.

Where is the drain plug on my portable air conditioner?

Most units are designed with a drainage hose found on the back of the product near the bottom or in the middle. The cap of the drain hose needs to be removed and the unit should be drained into a external pan (not provided).
