Is Highschool of the Dead worth watching?

It's wonderful to see. There is one small twist in their zombie, but it's acceptable and helps with the pacing of the story. If you're a fan of zombies, Romero or Horror and have never watched an anime series before, this is where to start.

Is Army of the Dead appropriate?

It is rated R18+ for high impact horror violence, blood and gore.

Is Dawn of the Dead appropriate?

Common Sense says. Extremely gory horror movie; not for kids.
Set in Japan, High School of the Dead is eerily similar to All Of Us Are Dead. Instead of fighting their way into their school like the new Netflix series, the animated show follows students who break out of their school searching for weapons and longing to reunite with their families.
