What I liked

It was really fun talking to the customers and making regulars.

What I wish was different

I wish the management was handled better. Scheduling was terrible and often interfering with time you had requested off such as class, other jobs, etc.

Advice

It’s fun due to the experience you make with customers, but it gets to a point when the management begins going through your belongings, getting upset for wanting to go on your ten minute break, etc.

October 2018 - July 2019 • Pasco, WA

What I liked

The atmosphere in the coffee stand was extremely positive majority of the time. I got very close with all of my coworkers and they're still my best friends even 3 months after moving away from them. I also got close with a lot of my customers and they still keep in contact with me. I got to be crazy fun self every day at work while listening to loud music and making people's day.

What I wish was different

There's not a lot I would change. The main thing I'd say is that some people in the shift lead positions were very young and a bit too immature for the crazy amount of stress that comes with how busy our stand would get. There was drama from time to time, but for the most part it was a positive experience.

Advice

If you ever work at dutch bros, be 100% yourself. No one likes someone who acts nice at work and is completely different otherwise. Be accepting of everyone and just have fun. It's the best job I've ever had.
