Silly thing number 1 is Jack and Mary playing piano with feet. They then hear applause. The applause is coming from Mel's Music Machine. Mary introduces silly thing number 2, which is "Mel playing a drum solo". Jack says that Mel playing a drum solo is not silly, until Mel starts to play the drums on a set of watermelons. Jack and Mary laugh. "Googleheads" is sung by Laurie Berkner. Back at the clubhouse, Jack introduces silly thing of the day number 3, which is Mel wearing musical instruments and dancing. Silly thing of the day number 4 is Mel tap dancing with tap shoes. "Deep Down" is sung by Hot Peas 'n Butter. Back at the clubhouse, Jack and Mary thing of what to do for the remaining three silly things. Suddenly, it starts to rain ping pong balls. Silly thing of the day number 5 is raining ping pong balls. Jack and Mary continue to think of what to do next. Mary thinks that Earl The Squirrel coming to the door with a singing Bologna Sandwich would be silly. Then, Mary's thoughts come true when a singing squirrel with a bologna sandwich actually does enter and sings "Bologna Sandwich". For the 7th and last silly thing, Jack and Mary ask the viewer to make a silly face. This makes Jack, Mary, and Mel laugh. Jack, Mary, and Mel had the silliest day.
