Love and Marriage: Huntsville cast Destiny

Love & Marriage: Huntsville aired a brand new episode on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 8 pm ET on OWN. The one-hour episode documented the cast members as they navigated through personal relationships and professional commitments, creating adequate drama for their viewers. While some addressed rumors, others handled struggles within their relationships.

On this week's episode of Love & Marriage: Huntsville, Kimmi, Latisha and Destiny discussed the couple's retreat. The topic soon changed when Kimmi revealed that Melody had talked to her about Martell's potential connection with Melneka. However, Destiny was not ready to believe Melody's accusation towards Martell.

Fans slammed Destiny for protecting Martell and not believing in Melody. They also thought it was wrong of Destiny to criticize Melody when Kimmi was the one who brought up the rumor. One tweeted:

Destiny Payton-Williams is known for her role as a cast member of the reality show, Love & Marriage Huntsville on the OWN Network. But Payton-Williams does more than spend her days in front of the camera, she’s also an entrepreneur. After four years and over 30 million dollars in sales for a Fortune 500 company, Destiny felt it was time to take her natural talent and skills to her community and create more opportunities.

Payton-Williams felt a strong desire to be of service to her lifelong passion outside of the real estate industry which is  “all things beauty”. It was her dream to be the first Black-owned beauty supply and salon suites owner in Huntsville, and she has done just that!

Knowing all the amazing things that Payton-Williams has accomplished, we were excited to welcome her to chat with the Her Agenda INSIDERS about how she balanced her passions and pursued her dreams.

Here are a few excerpts from the conversation.

Payton-Williams on changing industries from real estate to beauty:

I’ll more than likely never leave [real estate] but beauty has always been my passion. As a little girl I always dreamed of owning a salon. Little did I know God had a greater plan.

Payton-Williams on finding balance between family and work:

Being a new wife, having a brand new baby & working in real estate, and new budding business makes my days super busy. Yet the balance comes in what you have your focus on for the moment. Finding balance is a minute by minute, day by day thing.

Marriages have been tested for the LAMH cast.

“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” couple Destiny Williams and La’Berrick Williams were introduced on the show as friends of Melody Holt and Martell Holt. Destiny felt like she was caught in the middle since she’s friends with both. But when she tried to tell Martell he made bad choices, Martell became irate. And he warned her that she would see how difficult marriage can be when her own marriage would be tested in the future. Interestingly enough, there has been a lot of chatter on social media already. People have been speculating as to why La’Berrick no longer appears on the show.

It’s been rumored that Destiny and La’Berrick’s marriage hit a rough patch. Some fans speculated that La’Berrick didn’t want to be on the show in the first place. And it’s one of the reasons why their marriage was strained. Then on a preview for the upcoming season of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” Melody introduced a woman to the group who claimed she actually saw La’Berrick out and about with another woman.
