27. Annarasumanara

The protagonist of this manhwa is very relatable. She reminds each of the readers of their beautiful, innocent childhood. As a child, Yun Ai also wanted to become a magician just like everyone else. I mean who doesn’t, right? That’s the age to dream about magic. But reality hits after we grow up and the same thing happened to Yun Ai too.

Once she reached high school, it was difficult for her to just buy new pieces of clothes. But where there is a wish there is a way. The universe works in mysterious ways and it will always give us a sign to follow our passions. Yun Ai received her signature in the form of a magician she met in an event which made her determined to accomplish her childhood dream.

26. Reality Quest

School is never fun when we have to encounter bullies there. The story of our main character in Reality Quest, Ha Do-wan, is also kind of the same. His school bully has threatened Ha Do-wan to do a job for him. And boy is it a hard job! Ha Do-wan has to collect game items for his school bully and if he fails to do so, he is well aware of what can happen to him.

This is why he decides to play the game for one week in an attempt to collect the required items. Unfortunately for him, it results in his death. But instead of going to the afterlife he time travels and gets reincarnated one week before. Life gives him a chance to beat his bully and he can only do so using the skills of the game that he learned. So, one week of playing a game continuously will not be a waste after all!

25. The Novel’s Extra

Have you ever wondered what happens to the side characters in a story? No! Our focus is always on the protagonist and his allies in some cases. We do not even care about all the other characters that form a story. Cheondung is one such extra character who doesn’t know what purpose his life holds.

This forced her to run away to Lowood Institution, which is a school for witchcraft and wizardry. It turns out to be a magical experience for Magnolia and the new people she meets may ease her pain of staying away from her family.

23. Crossing Code

This story is about a Saintess. She has a mysterious aura to her and she is extremely beautiful. Aside from that, she has also been deemed as a holy figure who is fated to lead the nation. So, what happens when a Saintess switches her body?

Confusion and utter chaos! It called for a reckless decision and thus she was admitted to a college where she had to lead her life as a normal student. But will she ever be able to go back to her life as a Saintess?

22. Tiara

In this Korean manhwa, we will come across two groups of people. One of these groups lives for 500 years and can also wield special powers. They are known as Prashian and they come from a special aristocratic line.

The other group do not contain any powers and live only for 100 years. These two groups live together and between them lives Litra Palia. She is a pet who follows the orders of the servants and survives on whatever charity she can get from them.

21. Crepuscule

Lark Alfen is an orphan whose mother was a vampire. This is why when he was taken in by some of his relatives, they could not accept him completely. Everyone used to be afraid of him except one boy named Setz. He was his only friend there who helped him to get used to the new place.

But people love to talk and the rumour that Lark is also a monster spreads thick and fast. As a result, his relatives take the decision to send him back to the orphanage again which Lark is totally against. Setz offers Lark to stay at his place. Lark agrees to that proposal and when he reaches his new home he becomes completely shocked.

20. The Butterfly Girl

In this manhwa, we will read about a girl named Bibi Na who has got a special ability. This ability allows her to make a chrysalis. The phenomenon that takes place after that resembles that of a caterpillar. The way a caterpillar transforms itself into a butterfly, Bibi Na can also transform herself into a new person with different abilities and personality.

She uses this ability due to the tragic memories of her bullies and changes schools. But things get complicated when a boy in her new school seems to have an idea of who she is.

19. Demons Can’t be Pretty

We are all faced with stigmas in our life, right? But do demons also face the same? This Korean webtoon is about one such demon, Satan, who is extremely pretty. He studies in Demon High with shining blue eyes and sparkly white hair.

This is why many people seem to have trouble digesting the fact that Satan is a demon. They are categorizing him with the other demons. It seems an almost impossible task for Satan to change the idea of a demon that they have in their head.

18. Athena Complex

Do gods seek revenge? I mean they are supposed to be forgiving, right? We literally ask for forgiveness when we pray to gods. But it seems like Athena has some other ideas in her mind. She is the goddess of wisdom and it seems contradictory that she will even think about anything close to revenge.

Maybe she considers herself as a modern god who is far above those preconceived notions of being a god. She is so focused on it that she even decides to go back to school. If only she had that much focus in some other aspects!

Since we are talking about manhwa where the MC goes to a magic school, it is very natural that using magic is normal in the world that they live in. The plot of this Korean manhwa takes place in one such similar world. The story revolves around the son of Ran, Hiasen. Even since his childhood, he has been brought up by a friend of Ran, known as Kasin.

Kasin also happens to be an extremely skilled wizard. Everything was fine until one day, our protagonist asked a weird request from Kasin. He wanted to go to school for a Melly Day gift, which we are more familiar with as Leap Day.  

16. Miss Guillotine

Every era comes to an end and so did that of the anonymous hero. After that, the ones who had been protecting the world (the Magical Girls) start to lead their new lives with a somewhat celebrity status. But the real identity of these girls soon come to light and everyone is horrified to know that they are actually bullies in their school.

It creates a lot of confusion as to how bullies can be the protector of the world. This is when a new Magical Girl enters the scene. She starts a war against those Magical Girls that marks the beginning of a sudden turn of events.

15. From The Heavens

Legend says that a Sage King will be born into our world and he will lead the world to great heights. It will only happen once in a millennia, thus making it a very rare event. When the Sage King appears, the Heavenly Guards will have the duty to protect him on one side.

On the other side, evil doers will be looking forward to an opportunity to use the Sage King for their own misdoings. But is the clumsy boy named Danu really the Sage King?

14. Dice

At some point in our lives, we have all wondered if we could have the ability to restart our life. In this manhwa, that possibility becomes a reality. And this chance falls to the MC of this story, Dong Tae. His school life is a mess, thanks to the bullies.

On the contrary, his sitting partner, Tae Bin, enjoys a better life in school. He is not only popular but also very handsome. One day, Tae Bin suggests a new game to Dong Tae that will completely change his whole life from that point.

13. Noblesse

Noblesse is one of the more popular manhwa where we will focus on the MC, Rai. He has been asleep for over 820 years and has finally woken up. Surely that’s a dream for all sleep lovers out there. After waking up, he starts attending a high school with the help of Frankenstein who serves him.

But it will be hard for Rai to maintain a normal school life since a group of mysterious attackers has their sights set on him. On the other side, Frankenstein is also moving very suspiciously which puts his loyalty on question.

Although the stats will reset, he thinks he will have the opportunity to seize most of the wealth of the world and create a monopoly by taking control of all the dungeons. It is certainly an interesting prospect and everything is about the execution.

It is never easy to maintain two lives but the protagonist of this manhwa seems to get an adrenaline rush from that. On one side, he acts as the leader in a magical world. That seems really intriguing considering it not only involves magic but he gets to exercise his leadership too.

On the other hand, he is a normal high school student in the real world. Compared to his other life, this one is definitely a bit boring. But as I mentioned before, he doesn’t want to give up one for the other and is determined to carry out both perfectly.

9. UnOrdinary

None of us are perfect in this world and similarly, the world is not perfect too. We slowly come to know about the flaws that exist in this world and it is safe to say each of us deal with it differently. Some process it easily while for the others, it is difficult to come to terms with it.

But the main thing is that it teaches a valuable lesson and we realize a very important thing. Change is inevitable and as we face the flaws, we need to change ourselves or get left behind with the flaws.

8. Black Haze

If you listen to what happens to the main character in this story after a mission is messed up, you would definitely want to be in his shoes. So, after his assigned task gets derailed from the tracks, he gets shipped out to a magic school. That seems like getting a reward instead of a punishment.

Except he can’t relax and enjoy his time in the magical school. He has to protect a very important character’s son in that school. The son is not enjoying a great time and will now come under the protection of someone who will gain valuable lessons from it.

7. Overgeared

This story is about Shin Youngwoo who is also known as Grid. He will get sympathy from anyone who knows about his story since both his real world and the gaming world are kind of a bust. Imagine playing a virtual reality game to relieve your real life stress only to find yourself stuck at a low level.

But luckily, he finds a very rare item that gains him the legendary status immediately. This is like strucking gold out of nowhere as he will get to use new and different abilities. But can he handle the burden of his legendary status?

6. Tales of Demons and Gods

How will you react if you open your eyes and find yourself sitting in your classroom? Well, if you love school it will be a happy moment, otherwise you know the drill. The same thing happened to Nie Li who found himself in an awkward situation. He is supposed to be dead after getting attacked by a Demon-Beast.

Not just by any ordinary demon beast but a god tier one. This phenomenon occurred due to a warp in space and time that has sent him back to his 13 year old self. Now it’s up to Nie Li to protect the ones he loves and redeem his second chance.

5. Hide In the Flowers

Hide in the Flowers is a manhwa that will give off a different taste than what you are normally used to in this category. It is mainly about girls who study in a magical academy. I guess that’s pretty easy to understand considering the topic of this article.

Anyways, they are trying to improve on their magical techniques and they intend to do so by supporting one another through and through. As they do that, there will also be interesting stories of romance between them that the readers will get to know about.

4. Anz

The Witch of Wind has a legendary status in this story. And the plot revolves around the people searching for the next one who can occupy that role. Almost everyone is busy doing that except a certain student.

He studies in the Winfred Academy of Magic and his only wish is for people to leave him alone. It definitely seems a bit suspicious and points to the fact that he might actually be the next Witch of Wind, whom everyone is searching for. There may also be another mystery that gets revealed later.

3. The Beginning After the End

What can a person suffer from when he has everything in this world ranging from wealth to strength? For King Gray it’s solitude. People with such great power don’t usually find people at their own wavelength.

He also lacks a clear direction in his life so when he gets a second chance in a magical world, he is beyond excited. He will get to relive a beautiful experience and make sure he doesn’t repeat his mistakes this time. Will it be enough to make sure he gets to live a life without any regrets this time?
