Metal gear solid 5 fob missions offline

As the title says, this is a CT file that unlocks 50 weapons colors and 12 base colors, both groups part of the FOB online rewards system. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO USE THIS WITH YOUR GAME IN OFFLINE MODE TO PREVENT THE STEAM CLOUD SYNC ERASE THEM.

For those who doesn't know how to use a .CT file you must have CHEAT ENGINE installed (google it) and then follow this few steps:

1. Open MGSV.
2. ALT TAB the game and open Cheat Engine.
3. Click on the PC ICON to open a process. Select the MGSV process and click OK.
4. Click on the FOLDER ICON to open a Cheat Table file (.CT)
5. Select the file downloaded from this Mod page.
5.1 Select "Structure address directory" box then "Unlock Base Colors" box to see all the Base Colors entries inside the menu. Same with the weapons box at the bottom.
6. For fast edition click on every selection square on the left of each entry and then select the first entry, hold shift and select the last one so you can select all of them.
7. For fast edition hold Ctrl and double click the empty cell of any entry and when the pull-down menu appears select Change Value: 1.Unlock. Or you can unlock the entries one by one. (See the 2nd and 3rd images)
8. Do the same with all weapons colors entries.
9. Alt tab back to your game.
10. PROFIT.

I found this cheat table after a long time searching on the internet. It's not my work so credits goes to the OP Hexorg on github here:

Ever since its release in late 2015, Konami has provided content updates for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, though there are often long periods between content drops. Today marks the first time in over a year that the game's received new content, but it's also a pretty big one too.

Players who are fond of dabbling in the multiplayer FOB missions will now find they have the option to play as the sniper Quiet. According to Konami, she has several abilities, though you can't change her outfit or headgear:

You can play as Quiet to infiltrate FOBs. You cannot change her uniform or head options. She is an expert with a sniper rifle, and her steady hands let her take her shots with minimal shaking. Quiet’s movement speed is extremely fast and allows for unique jumping abilities over high steps where a player would usually need a ladder. She can close in on enemies quickly with her special dash, while remaining still for a certain amount of time will make her stealthy.

If playing a Quiet isn't appealing to you, this new update also adds a couple of devices for you to tinker around with, including a dark matter generator that can take foes out, an energy shield, and lethal and non-lethal variation on a powerful sniper rifle.

You can get the full rundown on the goodies in this update by checking out the post here. For more on Metal Gear Solid V, be sure to check out our review of the release version of the game.

After the servers shut off, are all new resources I get going to be 10% offline and 90% online still?

This is honestly bugging me a lot too. When you boot up the patched game in offline mode you basically see a skeleton of your actual resources because 90% of it is locked online......the first time I booted up offline I was freaking out because I couldn't access any of it.

I don't even know if anyone could have a proper answer for this as it simply hasn't happened before on any platform.

The safest answer would be that it all just goes POOF! Lost in the aether of the internet. Realistically all I can think of doing would be to use it all up, even if that means getting the GMP into red (negatives). Right before server closure just finish building and disposing the nuke, sell all your vehicles and unused resources for GMP, then use up all your GMP and fuel for developing items/weapons/platforms etc.... just clean everything out so that when we finally fire up the game on June 1st 2022, anything we earn just stays offline.

That is why I don't claim the challenge task list rewards for now, so when the server goes offline, I still have backup resources from task list rewards lol.

I thought you can’t access the challenge task list rewards unless you’re online?

As for the resources stored on the server, they’ll be gone for good. If you want to get a good idea of what the game will be like, play in offline mode. 90% of your resources will be unavailable. As the game is designed to be played online, it basically will break the experience.

This decision will backfire, buddy. Although you can see that you have something to receive in the Challenge Task List even while offline, trying to access the feature will result in an alert saying that you are unable to use it in offline mode.

For those who don't have an idea of all the online stuff that will be either lost or inaccessible after servers close, here's a "small" list:

- Daily rewards: GMP, resources and MB coins (these coins stopped working March 1st)

- Unclaimed daily rewards

- Every weapon, item, uniform, armament or security device with a yellow background that wasn't developed yet (if development were started, it will never progress)

- Online GMP (max GMP will be reduced from 30,000,000 to only 5,000,000)

- Online processed materials (up to 1,000,000)

- Online unprocessed materials (same as above)

- Online medicinal plants (up to 30,000)

- Online placed weapons, vehicles and walker gears (these are only used to increase stats in Virtual Battles)

- Stolen nukes

- Soldiers stuck in FOB Brig (soldiers that you extracted from other players)

- Being able to purchase new waters to build FOBs (this one stopped working March 1st)

- Building FOB platforms (if construction were started, it will never progress)

- Access to Security Settings

- Participation in Virtual Battles: Weekly League and Short League

- PF points (used to trade for S++/S+ staff, materials and plants)

- Stuff used in Virtual Battles (anti-ballistic missiles and liquid carbon missiles)

- Access to Online Dispatch Missions

- Access to all FOB related stuff  (infiltration, infiltration of high-ranking PFs, retaliation targets, indirect retaliation targets, nuclear-equipped targets)

- Intruder trophy

- Training/visiting a friend's FOB

- Access to Relationships menu

- Online Events

- Event points and all the stuff they can be traded to (S++/S+ staff, unique weapons, uniforms, swimsuits, weapon colors, base colors, emblem parts)

- Security Challenges (goodbye to all players who helped so many others in this mode)

- S+ soldiers (only 6 S+ soldiers can be obtained without using online methods)

- S++ soldiers (same as above)

- Access to Challenge Task List

- Unclaimed challenge tasks rewards

- Access to Log - MB coins (this log still register how many MB coins you have even though you cannot use them anymore)

- All kind of ranks (espionage, PF, successful FOB defenses, etc)

- Access to some records

- Access to MGO

List of online stuff  you will retain after server closure:

- Weapons, items, uniforms, armaments and security devices with a yellow background that were fully developed

- S++/S+ soldiers that were acquired trough trading points or extracted from another playes (unless stuck in FOB Brig)

- Weapon colors, base colors and emblem parts

- Unique weapons (if developed)

- Swimsuits (if developed)

Great post, @Hellish-Abyss. Thanks for that, Boss!

I personally would recommend getting the following trophies before shutdown:

Intruder - FOB Infiltration

Deterrence - Build nuke

Disarmament - Disarm nuke

Deployment - Complete all key dispatch missions

Enhancement - 50 development items

Reinforcement - 100 development items

Locked and Loaded - 300 development items

Prosperity - 10M GMP

Army - Raise all units to level 50

Architect - Construct all platforms

Virtual battles for the weekly league stopped working for me around Saturday.

Last week's league is still showing with last 6 battles empty like it never hapened.

Funnily enough, today after the maintenance period there was a message that previous weekly league concluded and points earned, but there was no PF point increase in my total and "weekly league" still showing the unfinished last weeks league. So no new battles for this week.

Short league was working yesterday so it's interesting to see if it'll be still working today.

P.S. I was tottally bummed when few weeks ago I discovered that I can't purchase waters for my 4th FOB despite MB Coins total in the log was showing the required amount. Didn't realize it stopped working in March.

I tried claiming some of the task list rewards yesterday, and it went straight to the offline GMP. That means theoretically, we can keep all the rewards until the last moment, and claim it before the server goes down. I am going this path and planning to claim all the rewards before it closes. For now if I lack resource or GMP, I play the FOB security challenge.

Thanks for the list of inaccessible contents! That really helped. How about the FOB waters that we have unlocked, will it still be available after the server closes?

Oh, ok then. This is probably a better course of action. But be aware, if your reward makes your offline GMP exceed the limit you will not be able accept it, even if your online GMP isn't maxed. An example: You have a 3,000,000 GMP reward to receive but your offline GMP is 2,000,001. You won't be able to accept it just because the sum of these two values is bigger than 5,000,000.

I personally wouldn't like to see a yellow number notificating that I have something to receive and not being able to claim it after servers close. To avoid this develop everything you can (but avoid stuff with a yellow background that will only be finished in June) and build every platform possible.

If nothing is available to be developed and one still wants to spend GMP to be able to accept rewards, there are some ways to spend it like crazy, like fultoning containers, vehicles, placed weapons and ordering heaven's wrath upon some area pressing start, R1, Fire Support and then choosing Bombardment or other option.

Unfortunately, no. You'll be able to access the menu and see what FOB platforms you already built but you'll be unable to start the construction of any platforms (except the ones that belongs to Mother Base). I recommend grinding security challenges and starting the construction of FOB platforms ASAP so they don't go to waste and some trophies like Army and Locked and Loaded become more easy to be achieved.

True, the exact same thing happened to me. This means weekly league probably stopped working for everyone although short league still works.

Because like 80% is a part of online resource i wonder if I should sell all my resources and spend all GMP before shutdown so they won't just dissapear.

Technically you can't have a negative GMP value when it sums with online portion.

If you have something to spend GMP on, i.e. non-online development projects (or Mother Base platforms) then by all means spend as much as you can.

If they leave GMP as it is now you can only have 5 milion GMP when not online so everything above that will be probably lost.

That's exactly what I'm gonna do. Sell all of my vehicles/tanks/walkers and my plants, use up the processed materials for building my remaining MOB platforms and sell the unused materials to convert all of it to GMP and then use up all of that completely for developing my weapons and items so I can basically get down to my last 100,000 GMP.

The only thing that wouldn't be salvageable at all would be the online UNprocessed materials because no matter how much you convert and bring over to processed (online or offline) the game will keep auto-mining for more and it is a never ending process as long as you are online. If you go offline you only have access to 10% of unprocessed materials..... which could be processed in a matter of minutes depending on how much you hoarded.....

Considering the game goes offline tomorrow you don't have much time for that, development of online equipment will be stopped with no connection to the servers

This has been bugging me out a lot this last month. I've platinumed the game back in march, but got really addicted doing those weekly challenge tasks and doing bi-weekly FOB events, that I wanted to get as many event rewards such as camos/S+ soldiers/base colors among other stuff, that I happened to get so much resources that I started developing any weapons left to develop...and now I'm About 20 weapons left to developing them all, but still can't stop worrying about my unused online resources, online vehicles/gears and mostly important my online plants, wondering how those will transfer if at all.

For any resources with the online “globe” symbol next to them, they’ll be gone forever.

You should be able to still fully upgrade motherbase, but it's gonna take longer to farm the resources

You should be able to!  Found a thread on playstationtrophies.org of people talking about an update that changed the nuke requirements to being online, and there was another post here about being able to do it on v1.0, so you should be safe to do so.

It's possible to have negative offline GMP but at certain points things would be calculated again to a 10% offline and 90% online part.
Not sure how that will be calculated now the servers are offline. Might depend on the last status before shutdown.

Yep, and after awhile your soldiers will get mad and start quitting. It takes awhile before they do that though.

I believe there is a thread of someone tested it and yes you still can. But you need to keep the game on for 24 hours.

How do I play mgs5 offline?

This. Just put steam in offline and start MGSV and boom no server connection..
Select profile : <Profile type> ... .
Set profile options to game defaults : (Command) ... .
Save to UserSaved profile : (Command) ... .
Enable Quick Menu : Off, On..

Can I ignore FOB MGSV?

Yes, you can ignore the FOB by going offline, and rejecting the EULA every time you start the game.

What are FOB missions in Metal Gear Solid 5?

Forward Operating Bases in MGS 5 serve as additional resource farms, development areas and also allows for PvP gameplay during Metal Gear Solid 5. The Forward Operating Base (or F.O.B.) is an online extension of Mother Base that can be built once enough resources have been gathered to rebuild Mother Base.
