Office closed notice due to lockdown

In view of current Covid-19 situation, UNEP IETC office has been temporarily closed and all staff members are working remotely.

Please note that we are not able to answer phone calls during the office closure. E-mail for any inquiries.

As you are all well aware by now COVID-19 is spreading and government agencies have called for social distancing. Based on the rate of the spread and news reports from around the globe it seems an inevitability that we will be called on soon to halt operations. After much deliberation our office has chosen to temporarily halt routine patient examinations in an effort to stay ahead of the curve and be proactive with our community care. We truly care about the health of each and every one of our patients and their families, which is why we have decided to take this drastic step.

Our phone lines will remain up and running during regular business hours for appointment scheduling, emergency consultation on eye related illnesses or to purchase any contact lenses to get you through to your next examination. As a courtesy to our contact lens patients Dr. Lee will be extending contact lens prescriptions for 6 months to patients that are coming due for an examination or if you would just like to stock up on an extra supply of contact lenses. Contact lens extensions will be subject to doctor approval to ensure no safety issues arise with the lenses. We are also extending a courtesy 10% discount on any 6-month supplies ordered over the phone during our closure.

We will be offering free shipping or setting up appointments to dispense any glasses currently in process. We are working hard to find solutions to continue care for our patients during this trying time. Please contact the office if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to help. This process is currently set in place until further notice. We are eager to get back to business as usual as soon as possible and will notify everyone with pertinent changes. Please keep your families happy and healthy.

In the best interest of all the concerned stakeholders, our head office in Chicago shall remain closed for three days, i.e., 19th to 21st June, for annual maintenance, and renovation. All the relevant parties are advised to schedule their appointments of any sort accordingly as staff will be absent on these days. The office shall be working again as before from 22nd June. Temporary Business Closure Notice

To all the employees,

Dear Employees,

This is to inform you that our transport business will be temporarily closed for almost 6 months from 1st January (Date). However, I cannot tell you the exact time period as it might last longer than this.

This is because the CEO will not be available due to personal reasons, and can’t leave the company without anyone looking after it. I am sorry to all of you who do not have any alternative income source. Still, fortunately, the CEO has decided to give us an extra salary of a month, which will definitely make things a little bit easier. When the company reopens the business, all of you will be hired back, but we understand if anyone does not want to rejoin.
