The Easter Bunny is one of those iconic figures that Brisbane Kids everywhere will remember meeting. This year, festivals and events everywhere are getting their Easter on and have invited the Easter Bunny along for the ride.

Check out all the events on in and around Brisbane in the lead up to Easter where your Brisbane Kids can meet the fluffy white bunny and maybe get a delicious Easter treat!

Festivals and Other Easter Events

Intrude: Illuminated Bunnies: Tuesday 29 March – Sunday 17 April, Brisbane Quarter, all day and night.  See not one but 3 Easter bunnies of a different kind as ginat illuminated bunnies take over Brisbane Quarter in the CBD. Find out more here 

Easter High Tea:  Wednesday 13 April, Shingle Inn City Hall, 9.30am – 11am.  Enjoy a delicious High Tea while you decorate your own Bunny biscuit! There will be an Easter egg hunt and a chance to win a lucky door prize as well as photos with the Easter Bunny! Find out more here 

Redcliffe Festival of Sails:Friday 15 April, Suttons Beach Redcliffe, 9am-4pm.  Meet the Easter Bunny as well as enjoy all the free festivities on offer at the Sails Festival including an Easter egg hunt on the beach, live entertainment on three stages, kids zone, Pop-Up Ice Cream fair and more. Bluewater Festival: Friday 15 April,  Shorncliffe Pier, from 9am. Enjoy Good Friday with lots of free entertainment and activities, food trucks, art and craft markets, rides and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself. Find out more here

Easter Saturday Kids Club: Saturday 16 April,  Granite Belt Christmas Farm, from 9am- 11am. Chase the Easter Bunny through the Christmas trees, hunt for Easter eggs, feed the animals and feast on chocolate as the Easter Bunny visits this very special farm in the Granite Belt. Find out more here

Let’s Celebrate Easter:Saturday 16 April,  Bruxton Park, Yarrabilba, Granite Belt Christmas Farm, from 9am- 11am. There will be family photos with the Easter Bunny himself as well as our Annual Carrot Throw Competition, kids activities, face painting, hot cross buns for morning tea, Easter Basket Giveaways and more and everything is free. Easter on the Esplanade:Saturday 16 April,  Surfers Paradise Esplanade, from 4pm-9pm. The Easter Paradise will be a fun atmosphere, filled with themed decorations, local handmade gifts, Easter beats, treats and activities for the little ones including a visit from the Easter Bunny. Easter Long Weekend Eggstravaganza:  Sunday 17 April, Victoria Park Bistro, from 9am-2pm. Celebrate Easter Sunday with an eggstravagant day out including face painting, petting zoo and live music as well as a special visits throughout the day from the Easter Bunny. Find out more here

Easter Eggstravaganza: Sunday 17 April, Sandstone Point Hotel, from 10am – 5pm. Hunt for one of 6,000 Easter eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, have fun on the kids rides and enjoy live entertainment at the beautiful Sandstone Point Hotel. (Registration is required for the egg hunt). Find out more here
