Hi, I'm looking for a few psp games, but my analog nub has been broke for a bit now. What are some games that do not require it to play?

most of (if not all) the Tactical RPGs such as Yggdra Union, Jeanne d'Arc, etc do not require the analog stick to be used at all.
platformers like Megaman, Dracula X chronicles and Prinny are pretty good too.

For your good ol' RPGs, most of the ones not in the Action-RPG category should meet your standards (FF 1-4, crimson gem saga, Class of Heroes, Riviera)

Probably a good 90% of the PS1 Classics don't require the analog for movement.

And at least half of those don't really use L2/R2 if at all.

- The Ys games: Ys Seven, Ys: Oath in Felghana, likely Ys: Ark of Naphitism and also Ys 1+2 Chronicles
- ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman
- Persona 3 Portable
- Unchained Blades
- Hammerin Hero
- Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology...for the most part. The stick is needed primarily in combat for free movement as you move on a straight plane with just the D-Pad. I do not know if it's possible to beat the game using just the D-Pad without the free movement. The final boss is a very tough opponent.
- Megaman Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X
- Sega Genesis Collection
- Lunar: Silver Star Harmony
- Mana Khemia: Student Alliance as far as I've played.

Note that for most of the games listed, the analogy stick does help with smoother movement but is otherwise not neccesary to beat the game.

It is possible via cfw. That's how I had to do it, with the glitchy nub the thing was useless! But was able to shut it off for in game play.

THANKS for this...I have CFW...I'll Google how to do it since we can't discuss it here. But thanks again, greatly appreciated.

I can't recall exactly, but I think Gurumin doesn't use it either and it's a pretty fun platformer.

Can I put PSP games on memory stick?

Connect your PSP to your PC. Use a USB cable to connect the two systems. If you want to copy your game directly to the Memory Stick you use with your PSP, this is when you should connect your Memory Stick. As long as your Memory Stick is installed and recognized, the game will be transferred directly to it.

Is PSP go all digital?

The PSP Go was a digital-only handheld that couldn't play physical UMDs. When the store closes, it will be impossible to legally buy any new games for this device at all.

Are PSP games discontinued?

The PSP game store shut down way back in 2016, but you can still get games for the console through the PS3 and the PS Vita stores. Now that those storefronts aren't shutting down, you'll still be able to download PSP games through them, though there will be some limitations going forward.

Does PSP have analog buttons?

Aside from a second analog stick, the PSP is missing the second set of trigger buttons found on all PlayStation controllers. If you're utilizing remote play with a PS3, you can map PlayStation One titles' L2 and R2 functions to the analog nub.
