The RealCare Baby 3 by Realityworks is an advanced infant simulator for teaching parenting, early childhood and PSHE classes. During a simulation experience, users respond to the baby’s cries for care. Users determine whether baby needs feeding, burping, rocking or changing, and learn how to dress baby appropriately for weather/temperature, and handle baby correctly. The smart baby uses wireless programming to track and report carer behaviors such as care events, mishandling actions, time in a car seat and clothing changes. Users learn a range of soft-skills including communication, social-emotional development, time management, responsibility and empathy for parents. This Starter Pack includes everything that you need to get your RealCare Baby programme started. We recommend teaching programmes have sufficient babies so that students can take a baby simulator home and/or participate in group activities. Do real care babies have cameras in them?The RealCare Baby has a patented neck with sensors that can detect if its head is not supported properly, prompting a unique cry that issues an ominous warning. It also registers three other “abuses” — shaking the baby, holding it upside down, or physical abuse — and records neglect if the student doesn't tend to it.

Can you turn a real care Baby off?Recessed button: the emergency stop button which can be used if an emergency comes up during a simulation. The simulation can be ended by having a parent/guarding insert a paperclip, or something similar, into that button and holding it in place until they hear 6 chimes. After the 6th chime, the Baby will turn off.
Why did my real care Baby stop working?Once Baby triggers 24 mishandle events the Baby will turn off. Battery Shutdown – Battery level drained out enough to stop the simulation. Emergency Shutdown – This occurs when the button that is above the red light is held down for 6 continuous chimes.
