About Red Hill Farms

Founded in 1917, RedHill Farms is a fourth generation family farm nestled in the rolling hills of West Marin County. The farm’s luxurious green hills, bursting with flavorful grasses, is home to over 500 roaming Dorset, Suffix, and Friesen sheep and 2700 white Leghorn free-range pasture raised chickens. RedHill Farms is the leading purveyor of milk-fed lamb—free of hormones, antibiotics and vaccines—to fine dining restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. They also supply free-range pasture raised organic chicken eggs. For over a decade, Don Gilardi has been the steward of this lush 80 acres. Committed to sustainability, Don manages his flock of sheep and chickens to preserve the flavorful grasses that grow on his pastures.
