State of decay 2 best red talon skills Reddit

the red talon soldiers are basically survivors with a higher power, as they have extended abilities with all skills. The down sides to them is their traits, but dependent on how long you’ve played the game or difficulty, you’ll be fine. If you get a red talon member, i suggest you get( the 5th skill) mobile operations, fortifications, foraging. But i’d base it on what you need or want. For all the info you need just watch the ‘TheM9s’ video on it, even as its old its the same info as the game currently. If you have played for a long amount of time, you won’t really need them. If anyone ever wants to get a red talon soldier, daybreak does take long, and if you do one full game you only get 2000 prestige credits so you will need to do multiple runs if you want a decent amount of red talon soldiers. The minimum amount of soldiers to have would be around 3 so around 7000 prestige credits. They are worth it if you get a fresh community, as they are useful in the beginning. If you start a fresh community, they are useful to have.

No. It doesn't matter what the rewards are. I refuse to play a game mode that is simply not fun. The moment that changes is the moment I start using Daybreak items. I will not grind for this shit like this is some repetitive MMORPG. I refuse. Daybreak is little more than an embarrassment to this otherwise fabulous game.

And honestly, Red Talon's recruits are not much different in capability than a well designed survivor build. I've been operating without Red Talon members entirely, and I am having a BLAST. Red Talon doesn't offer anything that doesn't have SOME sort of non daybreak analogue. Unless you're in the minority of people who sincerely love Daybreak's gameplay, I'd advise you just take the hours you would waste on Daybreak and spend them doing absolutely anything else in your life.

I saw this vid https://youtu.be/_Tc96kAK5Ms about how to pick what traits your Red Talon Agent/Operative has when you recruit them, and I wanted to know what you'd pick as your 3 to start a new base on dread.

So I want to farm till I have the 3 most perfect red Talon recruits with the best traits and red Talon skill, train them to max, then send them in to a dread map or higher to claim a builder boon and make future runs easier.

But it's so dang complicated trying to figure out what to aim for, especially when they're gonna be 1/3 of a starting base, where I might be struggling for a while at the start, so having too many flaws draining my resources might make the survivors left behind more useless than if I'd brought a regular person.

The main things I care about are the skills that unlock rooms I can build

I've narrowed down the 1st Trait to a choice of 2but when I go over the rest, my brain starts to melt, so I wrote it all down n hope some people will tell me their favourite combination for a combination of 3 starting red Talon recruits to take into a dread map without any boons

(for the 2nd trait, it's linked to your 5th skill, so I just added what we get both positive and negative from the 2nd trait, onto what we get from the 5th skill, also our 5th trait/2nd skill decides our hero Bonus, so I linked that on too, and our 3rd trait is one of two, with the second less likely but still possible)
