because after reading a few chapters the app will required you to buy the succeeding chapters (2kplus chapters). It's an addicting series of karma, Feng Shui, Chinese medicine, political/family hyrarchy, superhero without a cape, and a marriage for 3years without consummation. Read this one in Facebook, then via app Good Novel which requires you to pay coins that you can buy for $1.99 for a few chapters of the book. links and read it in Google with a not so good translation (good thing this one is free). The story is quite interesting but it's too long, and quite expensive. It maybe interesting for awhile but if you have a calculating mind the book is not worth your time, money and attention. This kind of book is literally a money-mill. But the good thing is, you can find some uploads that may help you ease the burden of spending in just one book that you don't know when will end. ✌️

It's addictive and a really good story about karma. Highly recommend you give it a go. I have posted 2 links below. I think that the author has seen too many of the old Chinese movies, showing face and young master, etc. Also the author doesn't understand the value of money, everything is 100 million or billion dollars. I enjoy the book for the most part, I do get tired of Charlie not leaving Claire, I understand that she was the only person that was nice to him when he was broke and a nobody. But 4 years into a marriage and still not consumating the marriage is not a marriage, he has 10 other women that want I think that the author has seen too many of the old Chinese movies, showing face and young master, etc. Also the author doesn't understand the value of money, everything is 100 million or billion dollars. I enjoy the book for the most part, I do get tired of Charlie not leaving Claire, I understand that she was the only person that was nice to him when he was broke and a nobody. But 4 years into a marriage and still not consumating the marriage is not a marriage, he has 10 other women that want to be his wife. Also the mother-in-law needs to go, even if she is starting to be nice because he is buying her stuff. Also there is like 3 different versions out there, the amazing son-in-law, the amazing son-in-law Charlie Wade, and the millionaire son-in-law, also with the same exact storyline but with different name for the characters. I've read 2760 characters of the Charlie Wade one, but the amazing son-in-law one has 4 more chapters but the names are different. It's kind of frustrating. But I will look for more chapters in the future, just not going to pay for them. ...more

Oct 30, 2020 Marie Horton rated it did not like it I was really enjoying this book. Paid 4.99 dollars and it only let me read to chapter 76. Wanted more money. Not impressed. Tried to find other places to buy it but no luck. Not good.wont bother to read his books again.

Bullshit, I paid almost $400 and read up to 2158. Suddenly the book stops. What happen to the next chapter. What a very expensive read. I don't mind, as I am enjoying it and really got me hooked. Very disappointing as it stop in the middle of the story. What a load of bullshit and utterly fraudulence to be charge $400 or so and could not read any further than 2158. What a load of crap. Very addictive book but very expensive and the waiting time to read chapters are ridiculous esp after paying, there are other sites with the novel but prob is character names are different so impossible to figure out who’s who. Please up load chapters quicker.

was translating the novel into English changed at episode 1000. Hard to follow and hard to understand. Feels like translation was done either by some bad software or google translate or a 3 yeard old. Also, prices in the book are very inconsistent. In one sentence Charlie asks for $1 billion dollars but in the mext sentence its listed as 1 billion yen. Or a
house is $3 million in one paragraph and $300k in another paragraph and even $30k in the 3rd paragraph. Many many things are inconsistent. Some sentences are very misspelled and many sentences miss important info as if it was deleted. This novel has not been proofread for errors for sure.
This reminds me of the format many popular books were printed in crica
1880-1910. The story is ongoing, with new chapters still being written. The guy is a good person, stops someone from being bad, and gets the girl in the process. Initially it starts very well, with u-turn type of twist in protagonist's life. But after a few chapters he becomes what he hated, consumed by the fortunate wealth and
drowning in own ego. He seems to be volatile and inviting fights onto him. And the similar events keep repeating to show that how rich and powerful his father is and he is just a spoiled brat of a rich dad. but I do have a lot of free books from authors and publishers which I am subscribed to. Sometimes I do beta reads and review a few for extra income or free books. And because of work I just limit myself to a hundred books per year that's why my files of books are getting higher. Nevertheless I may consider it if time permits me. Thanks again 😊

And that was after paying FULLY for the whole book on Amazon. I have been searching forgthe rest since then. I found that there are more chapters. However, the characters are different and I have to download them chapter by chapter which makes it uncomfortable. I really enjoyed the story and would like to reach to the end. Any help? The value of being low-key and avoid fanfare despite ones unparalleled skills, ability and resources is a true strength. It also emphasized the value of giving due respect to elders and appreciation of the former contribution of our ancestors that leads us to what we achieve now.

Agree few translations are absolutely horrible, terrible grammar, use of pronouns atrocious, vocabulary very limited, etc. But hey, it’s fiction and only a novel. So if you really want perfection do a self reflection.

However, the writing style and lack of proper grammer caused me to lay it down after chapter eleven. I don't enjoy reading and I had hoped for the best with this novel.
