Is University of Michigan hard to get into out of state?The out-of-state acceptance rate is 18.9% (4.1% lower than the overall rate), making the process even more competitive. Your GPA isn't the only number you should focus on, you also need to do well on your ACT or SAT test if you choose to submit it.
What is the transfer acceptance rate for UMich?UMich accepts 39.41% transfer applicants, which is competitive. To have a shot at transferring into UMich, you should have a current GPA of at least 3.86 - ideally you're GPA will be around 4.01.
