What happens at the end of All American Season 4

CW’s hit tv series, All American, is on the rise to make its debut this October, and from last season it will definitely be an entertaining, and exciting season. But first, read here for a recap of last season’s finale AND predictions for the next season!

As we know,  All American is more than just football and school drama; it focuses on the lives of people from Crenshaw, like our beloved Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) and his crew; including the kids from Beverly. With the ups and downs of life, they always end up sticking together through it all. Now as Season 5 is about to make its long-awaited debut, let’s rewind, and recap the last season!

So first, let’s start with Spencer and Olivia. During the last season, we could see that they definitely had ups and downs in their relationship, especially with the transition to college life. Additionally, they overcame Billy’s feud with Spencer after he trained Jordan behind his back. With all these new trials and tribulations, it was a no-brainer that Olivia was considering a breakup or in other words a “break” from the relationship. Luckily, during the finale, it did seem like they were still very much in love, but needed to work on being a team.

Speaking of relationships, a new one is definitely blooming, between Jordan and Layla. This is a pairing that I did NOT expect to happen. After the breakup between Jordan and Simone, it seemed like the writers of the show would just keep him single for the remainder of the season. Clearly, they had other plans. During the season, there were plenty of flirtatious moments between the two and there was chemistry for sure. This helped the pairing make sense but the timing was definitely unexpected. They confessed their feelings for each other so quickly, and frankly, I thought it was the cutest thing. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

Of course, the drama doesn’t stop there. There is also Layla’s co-worker, Clay, who she had ghosted. Now he is going to come back and with a partner who will work closely with Layla. I think this will likely cause tension. Meanwhile, Coop’s past as a gang member is still haunting her, and nobody knows what will happen next. Spencer’s mom, Grace James, is now engaged to Principal D’Angelo and they are happily in love. So far, the gang seems to be fine but we will see how the season unfolds in the coming weeks.

Overall, I can’t wait to see what is in store for the All American crew and I know that I will be at the edge of my seat until the new season arrives which starts on Monday, October 10th on The CW.

Yet, the truth here is a little bit more complicated than that. We’re at the end of Halloween party and with that in mind, Spencer’s going to try to leave the past behind him and look forward. After all, Homecoming is ahead! Who wants to be, though, that this is a little bit harder to achieve than Spencer perhaps thought? There are going to be some big reveals throughout this episode, and some turns that should set the stage rather nicely for season 5.

(This is where we’re going to go ahead and say how grateful we are that the show already has a season 5, especially since so much other CW shows got canceled.)

To grab a few more details now on what lies ahead, go ahead and check out the full All American season 4 episode 20 synopsis below:

This All American Season 4 recap will cover a variety of topics, including Spencer’s decision to remain in Beverly Hills and Olivia’s offer to move to Oakland. We’ll also discuss Grace’s decision to move to Oakland and Jordan’s father’s prejudice. It’s a season of change and a lot to keep an eye on.

Spencer’s decision to stay at Beverly Hills

A State Champion football player, Spencer James has to make a tough decision – whether to stay in Beverly Hills or move to South LA. His choice will affect his family, including his mother, father, and brother. This is a story about love, friendship, and family. In this story, we meet a family with an incredible story behind it.

Spencer is hesitant to go back to Crenshaw after becoming a Beverly High celebrity. But as soon as the school’s president, Corey, learns of his daughter’s new life, Spencer decides to make the move. Spencer, now a high-profile Beverly High student, sends his dad a text.

Spencer wants to go to UCLA and play football for the Bruins. So he takes the offers and visits the school’s football facilities. But when his father dies, he has to give up football. He is devastated.

Olivia’s decision to move to Oakland

The ending of All American Season 4 was somewhat disappointing. It seemed like it was a slow season, and the finale left viewers confused. It seems that the show is headed for Season 5, but there was little storyline development. The show’s characters are likable, and their friendships are rooted in real life events. However, Olivia’s decision to move to Oakland is not without its complications.

Spencer and Olivia’s relationship becomes more complicated. Spencer and Olivia struggle with the pressure of school. Layla worries that Olivia will break up with Spencer, which makes her worry about being left behind by Spencer. Layla is worried that Asher isn’t going to be as supportive as she thought. Meanwhile, Spencer and Layla are both working hard to make amends with each other. Olivia’s decision to move to Oakland is a huge change for them all.

The end of All American Season 4 Episode 20 ends with a tragic event. Someone breaks into a Halloween party and demands that the group surrender. However, after the tragedy, the group manages to escape. Spencer then decides to work on the game for the big Homecoming game. He can’t afford to lose the game.

Grace’s offer to move to Oakland

In this season, Grace accepts Dillon’s offer to move to Oakland. This move has several ramifications, including a change in living arrangements. While Dillon appears on the show only a few times, it’s possible that he lives in one of the Baker homes. Despite this, Spencer and Laura continue to be close, with Spencer looking to Laura for guidance and love. Meanwhile, Spencer is trying to focus on the upcoming homecoming game, while Layla gets a bombshell at work.

Grace’s offer to move to Oakland is a big one, but not in the way she thinks. The two women have a very different set of motivations for making the move. They are both eager to find a new beginning, but they have different plans. D’Angel’s death and Spencer’s illness also loom large in their relationship. The two women must decide what to do to make the new start they’ve always wanted.

The Season 4 finale left fans of the show with mixed feelings. However, this season of All American is just around the corner and promises to cover a lot of ground in the next season.

Jordan’s father’s prejudice

In All American season 4, Jordan’s father shows his prejudice against black people in the form of racism. As a result, Jordan begins to experience racial discrimination and has to deal with the consequences. He also discovers that his father once dated Grace James, who he had never met. The incident leads Billy to become upset because he didn’t know about the discrimination. In addition, Jordan discovers his high school yearbook and learns that his father once dated Grace James.

What happens in season 4 of All American?

Spencer faces a major decision on signing day for football; Billy struggles to forgive Spencer. The gang celebrates a birthday, but not everyone is happy about it; Jordan's buried feelings come to the surface, leaving his and Billy's relationship strained; Asher is trying to come to terms with his football career.

What happens in All American last episode?

After being assured that her suspicions were misguided, Coop confronted Mo when she discovered Mo attempted to frame her by planting drugs in her tour bus. The encounter ended with Preach (J. Kareem Grimes) shooting Mo dead, but an errant bullet hit Coop, leaving her bleeding out in Preach's arms.

Did Spencer and Olivia break up in season 4?

However, his attempts are failures, as no matter how hard he tries, Spencer can not get Olivia out of his head and will not be with someone else to do it. All American does not hold back in remembering that Spencer and Olivia did not break up due to losing interest in each other.
