March thru June & November are great months to visit Cape May if you are a music aficionado.  The singer- songwriter festival kicks it off in March, followed by the Cape May Music Festival, which runs from the end of May thru June and then there's Exit Zero's International Jazz Fest which happens twice a year in the Spring and Fall.  In addition to these great music events, visitors can always find live music somewhere in Cape May, anytime of the year - In the off season, don't miss Open-Mic Night on Sundays at the Mad Batter, as well as great live bands at the Boiler Room Congress Hall or the Ugly Mug.  In season, there is usually some type of live music happening at many of the local spots, check out the Rusty 'Nail', Cabana's and the Schooner at the Lobster House, just to name a few.
