What is DC Young Fly doing now?

The 28-year-old is still a big part of the show, but he also happens to be juggling a lot of other projects at the moment. Not only is DC keeping his fans laughing on Wild 'N Out, but he has also taken his talents on tour. In a Jan. 12, 2022, Instagram post, DC revealed that he is going on a solo comedy tour. The tour started in mid-January 2022 and is set to conclude at the end of May 2022.

Not to mention, DC also shared that he scored a guest role on The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder reboot in an April 19, 2022, Instagram post.

"It’s an honor to be able to say I was a part of The Proud Family cast. I use to watch this show all day every day growin up," he captioned the photo.

If you've been keeping up with DC, you likely know that this is not the first time the comedian has stepped away from Wild 'N Out in favor of other opportunities The 29-year-old released the single, "24 Hours," in February 2020 and landed a starring role on Season 2 of BET’s American Soul, a drama based on the early years of the music-dance program Soul Train.

"I really get to get in my REAL ACTING ZONE!!!!!" DC Young Fly, whose birth name is John Whitfield, wrote on Instagram of his performance as musician Sly Stone. "I CAN’T WAIT FOR Y’ALL TO SEE THIS!!!!!"

The singer also served as a guest judge on the Quibi series Floored, which sees two dance crews face off on a platform that’s constantly moving. If you like to watch people fall, this is definitely the show for you.

Though DC Young Fly’s career is flourishing, the former TRL host is still comfortable with the role he plays on Wild 'N Out. "I’m that young brother that kind of was off the streets and they were like, 'Look, man, you need to come do this,'" the Atlanta native, who joined the cast in Season 7, explained to AllHipHop in 2018.

"I’m like the young, wild knucklehead that’s ready to do whatever for the squad," he continued. "As a collective, everybody brings their itch and their power moves, but I’m like the young brother that wants everybody to win… Wild 'N Out played a big part of my career, and I played a big part of Wild 'N Out's career."

DC Young Fly is now a father of two with another child on the way.

Aside from DC's comedic and acting duties, the 29-year-old is a father. Fans are already familiar with the adorable 5-year-old Nova and 1-year-old Nala. However, both DC and his longtime girlfriend, former Wild 'N Out girl Jacky Oh, have announced that they are expecting their third child.

On Feb. 18, 2022, the couple took to Instagram to share the amazing news with fans via a gorgeous family photo shoot.

"Another magical moment in life. Blessings on blessings. Full video on YouTube!" the couple wrote with white heart and a prayer hands emojis.

DC Young Fly previously admitted that becoming a father has inspired him to work even harder than he did before. "Now I gotta live for my little girl and make sure that she doesn’t have to want for anything," he told Comedy Hype. "If you thought you seen me grinding … just watch now!"
