Its delicate and feminine pink glimmer gives a unique touch to traditional engagement ring rings and jewelry. Putting a twist on elegance, rose gold complements many
colors and can be paired with multiple palettes. Whether cool blues, warm reds, or versatile neutrals, we discuss the best colors to go with rose gold below. Even though it might seem counteractive, contrasting colors enhance the ravishing pink undertones in rose gold like no other. Beautiful blues can create a calming sensation for poppy rose gold settings. Pair deep navy blue or glamorous royal purple gemstones with gilded rose gold accents
to harken in the golden ages . For a softer and more humble contrast, mix rose gold with pretty pastel lavender or powdery baby blue enamel to usher in a serene essence like this ring. To encourage the warm tones and pink gleam of rose gold, consider pairing it with lovely reds. Charming
and passionate, reds and related colors make ideal partners for rose gold’s fiery shine. Many shades of reds and other warm colors are matches made in magnificent rose heaven. Desert terracotta, pomegranate ruby, adorable blush, and alluring hibiscus combine with rose gold beyond beautifully! The warm reds and pretty pinks are natural fits for rose gold. The red pairings also bring out more coppery tendencies in rose gold for a smashing antique appearance like
this wedding band. Even though rose gold strays from the usual earthy yellow gold tones, rose gold still has an organic feel about it. When looking for a more natural color scheme, neutrals are the way to go. Darker neutrals like moody charcoal grays, decadent chocolate browns, creamy chic tans, and lush
forest greens strike more subdued feels than vibrant color pairings. Matching rose gold with darker neutrals contrasts the radiant heat of rose gold with neutrals’ opulent cool hues to enhance both into a lavish jewelry experience that can be found in this stack. If darker colors are not your cup of tea, off-whites with red or gray
undertones result in simple and timeless canvases for rose gold. Charismatic chamomile, dusty eggshell, and ancient ivory lift the red and pink characteristics from rose gold. Resulting in a rosey daydream, pale neutrals leave rose gold wearers draped in sophisticated quality. Pulling from all locations on the color wheel, rose gold can pair with a slew of shades, tons of tints, and heaps of hues. With endless color palette possibilities, we encourage rose gold settings
and accents on our custom engagement rings. If you would like to design a rose gold masterpiece, give us a call or book an appointment. Your blush creation could be crafted in under a month. Just in time for spring roses to bloom and your loved one to say “I do!” Post navigation

I''d love to get a simple rose gold ring someday, set with a colored stone. I''m wondering what kind of colors would look best in it. For instance, do you think my morganite would look washed out? What about my pink tourmaline? Too dark? Link to those
here What other colors (aside from pink) would look good with rose gold? Thanks! Related topics: T LSuper_Ideal_RockJoinedSep 20, 2008Messages24,808

Thanks TL! Ooh I didn''t think of amethyst...yum, that might be a great possibility!

When talking about your stones, both would look great in rose gold, simply because they''re the right color. I honestly can''t think of any pink stone that wouldn''t look good in rose gold, and even the darker shades of red (like your pink tourmaline) look really good with it. Of course, the choice of tone will impact the final look, so darker ones will create a more dramatic combination
with a great contrast, while lighter shades will make for an understated design. It all depends on what''s your preference. I''m only not sure about setting highly saturated stones like great rubelites or spinels in rose gold, simply because they would get lost in it (IMHO). And what other colors look good with pink - it all depends on the look you''re after. I think even black can look great in it (just imagine a tahitian pearl in rose gold), and I''d only be careful with greens cause the
combo might be too striking and christmasy Joined Jul 24, 2003Messages2,291
I would say a lovely med-dark pink tourm or a nice amethyst, I think morganite or kunzite might be too washed out to show nicely.

I think any pink or reddish stone looks great in rose gold - it only enhances the pink. I also like yellows and purples in rose gold. JoinedSep 30,

Morganite (if pink rather than peach), Kunzite looks gorgeous in rose gold, some pink diamonds if not overdone can look lovely. I would never put a pink diamond in a full rose gold setting because (and this is my personal taste) it detracts from the pink diamond and everything merges into one colour. Similarly (and again, personal taste) I wouldn''t put blues, greens, purples - they''re too
much of a contrast and for me, clash. It really is all about taste and you''ve had a range of opinions on here - some agreeing, some not!

Sometimes I wish my ruby RG ring held my mint garnet pendant, (so it would be the ruby in WG and the garnet in RG) holding the two together they are just delicious.

A lot of Victorian jewelry is made of rose gold, and they used all sorts of stones. I have an amethyst ring, several opal rings, a moonstone, a green stone... I''ve seen sapphires and tourmalines and everything. It all looks great. JoinedJan 18, 2008Messages9,758

I have to say, my mint tourm looks really nice to me in my empty rose gold setting. It sounds like it may clash, but its complimentary imho. I will try to get pics if anyone interested. I''d certainly be interested! The colors together seem so delicate and pretty...and I don''t know about anyone else, but around here, Smalltown USA, NOBODY has anything "different" it''s either white or yellow gold, and generally diamonds, tho I do have a coworker who wears only rubies.

Hey packrat, TL and and flowerladytoo - my apologies I didn''t get around to this sooner. Here are a couple pics of my mint tourm with a rose gold solitaire - admittedly, it does bring out the yellow in the stone, but I honestly don''t mind.. outside in afternoon sunlight..

same lighting. Honestly, I know its not a "purists'' " view, but I quite like the green and gold flashes that show up here..

What looks good with rose gold? For a feminine palette, use rose gold together with white or cream. The hue also looks great alongside lilac, next to other shades of soft pink or used with complementary blue-green shades like teal.. Rosewater.. Lilac.. Cream.. White.. Baby blue.. Do rose gold and sapphire go together?Pink Sapphire
Pink sapphires add an incredible look to rose gold that's both subtle and captivating. Really, rose gold looks great with most pink tinted gems, but the beauty and clarity of a pink sapphire centerstone is unsurpassed.
Does emerald look good with rose gold?Emeralds look beautiful in any metal color. Most choose to pair a bluish emerald with yellow gold or a yellowish emerald with white gold or platinum. These pairings make the emerald appear a more pure green. Rose gold is a great option, too.
What stone is a rose gold color? Also known as the Love Stone, rose quartz can vary from shades of pale to strong pink, and makes a gorgeous stone-band combination with rose gold. The gem is a hallmark of unconditional love; love for self, love for family, love for friends, and love for lovers.
