I love this movie. Reminds me, as always, dont judge a book by its cover. I used to "date" my type, a type I was sexually attracted to, over and over and over again, always easy on the lust, and not so easy on all the rest. Naturally, none of those dates turned into relationships. Once I became aware of this type, not being such a good thing, I notice others, not my type showing some interest, and low and behold, people I would not naturally think were so good looking, as I got to know them better, became much better looking. And then I noticed people who I thought were so good looking, if I didnt hop into bed with them, and got to know them first, because less so good looking. Well, here's a story, about these issues, as well as, worrying about what others think, which in most cultures, sits in the front of everyones mind. I'm glad to say, I've changed quite a bit in these regards, and so has the fellow in this film. Its wonderfully written, directed, acted, and its a joy to watch. Thank you India for staying true to love of life, family and friends. I salute India. 2 people found this helpful peacereaderReviewed in the United States on March 11, 2021 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice story lineVerified purchase I enjoyed the movie but found the English subtitles weren't in sync with the spoken words. It was very distracting to sort out who said what since I only understand English. Otherwise a good movie. snow47Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2015 4.0 out of 5 stars Mostly Pretty GoodVerified purchase This is for the most part an exceptionally nice film. The cast is terrific, the settings feel real, and there is a good range of emotion and humor. The one thing that holds it back for much of the first half or two-thirds is that the male lead is hard to empathize with. Until you have watched it all the way through, he just seems to be a petty, whining loser. I really related to and felt for the female lead, but certainly thought that she deserved better than this guy, and was losing interest in the story because of him. The ultimate emotional climaxe(s) finally build a balanced into the dynamic, though. 9 people found this helpful jancyReviewed in the United States on January 30, 2021 4.0 out of 5 stars It's a feel good movie!
