Last weekend we headed 90 minutes west to Madison, Wisconsin where we toured a bunch of the homes from their Parade of Homes. This is one of my all time favorite activities, and this parade did not disappoint! I took a ton of pictures of the modern home trends I’m loving! I’m SO excited to share these all with you!White ExteriorsAlthough white exteriors are a modern trend, I really do think they’re also timeless. I just love how these ones look with black windows and black roofs! Show
 Dark ExteriorsAs good as those white exteriors are, these dark ones TOTALLY won me over. This first one was my very favorite, but they’re all just SO good! I also LOVE how black windows look with the black exteriors. Back at our “Auction House” I took on painting the whole house and I loved how it looked. Black Front DoorsAs much as I love those dark exteriors I LOVE these dark front doors! I painted the front door black at our last house, and I’d love to update the accents on our current house to be black too. Black WindowsI’ve always wanted to install black windows, but the closest I’ve gotten is painting our kitchen windows black! I absolutely love the way that they pop in all of these homes. Hidden Pantries and Butler’s PantriesThese hidden pantries were awesome! It’s so unique how they fit right into the cabinetry! I also saw multiple butler’s pantries, which is such a fun vintage idea! I love that you can hide away some of your dinner mess when entertaining! Wainscotting and Shiplap WallsJust about every house on the tour had statement walls that included wainscotting or shiplap! Bold Statement WallpaperI saw SO much gorgeous wallpaper that it made me want to go home and install some!
