Ever notice how canonically, the minions were frozen during WW2 because the movie didn’t want to say the Minions ... from ‘Minions’ worked for Adolf Hitler? Just me? Ok cool

Like, these creatures are attracted to the most evil people alive at any given time ... so they absolutely should have been Nazis. Show us Nazi Minions you cowards.

A scene that didn't make the final cut starts with a slow fade up that reveals a jungle, and you hear CCR's "Fortunate Son" playing in the distance. Then the bushes rustle and out of the overgrowth steps several Minions.. and when the camera pans up, you see they're dressed as US soldiers.

Perhaps the most tasteless thing imaginable would be for a scene where the minions run a concentration camp in a slapstick manner - there’s minions accidentally gassing themselves along with prisoners, falling into mass graves due to fighting with each other, and of course the head Nazi minion doing a silly dance in victory after a mass murder only to be glared at by a top visiting Nazi official - who then smiles and dances with him.

While I fully understand the mile long list of reasons why this cannot and will not ever be made, the 14 year old edgelord in me is now dying to see this

I'm morbidly curious to see if anyone has animated/drawn a minion in Nazi paraphernalia..... But not so curious to actually search for it.

Granted, here’s some sacred monkey paw knowledge:

The minions served Japanese officer Hiro Onoda from 1933 to 1945. In 1933, Hiro was 11 years old. One night outside his window he started to hear odd noises. He woke to the sound of 10,400 minions outside his window. Hiro befriended the minions and made them stay in hiding from his family and friends out of fear of rejection from his community.

Over the years, the minions drove Hiro absolutely MAD with their incessant giggling at each and every utterance from his mouth.

By December of 1944, the minions had all but left poor Hiro without so much as a goodbye. This reinforced Hiro’s belief that he indeed was going insane and hallucinating all these years.

At this time, Hiro was in the Philippines fighting in WWII. The Philippino commonwealth forces take the island in 1944 and the war was ended.

Hiro however, questioning his sanity, believed the minions were behind this.

He refused to surrender for 29 more years and subjected himself to the harsh life living in the mountains of the Philippines, randomly attacking villages which he heard whispers of minion laughter. In the processes, killing hundreds of unsuspecting innocent civilians.

Finally in 1974, a man comes to him and convinces him that the war has been over for nearly 30 years! That man’s name was Gru, who the minions now served.
