Biography

They met in college and were engaged before Jamie decided to go to the Police Academy. Initially she was supportive of Jamie's decision to change careers, but over time she started to consider the danger. As Jamie got into the job, Sydney started to feel like she came second and constantly worried that he would go to work and not come home. Eventually she couldn't take the stress anymore and broke off their engagement, taking a 6 month job in London.

Eddie and Jamie's first meeting

Love at first sight? Not quite! The twosome first met on the Season 4 premiere "Unwritten Rules." Shortly after the brand-new partners introduced themselves, they were immediately called into action and responded to a shooting of a fellow officer. Talk about a memorable first meeting!

When they first met, Eddie and Jamie barely had time for pleasantries before they were called into action.

Get a room, y'all! After a night out on the town, gentleman Jamie walked Eddie back to her apartment on "Secret Arrangements." As they said goodnight, they both leaned in for a kiss! After the smooch, however, the moment turned slightly awkward when the youngest Reagan sibling said, "You should get inside. It's late." Nice going, Jamie!

After Eddie reveals her true feelings for Jamie, Eddie responds with the same admission—and goes in for a kiss!

After many flirtatious moments and bouts of jealousy, Eddie was ready to be honest. In Season 7 on "Personal Business," Eddie got well, personal. "I have feelings for you. I have for a long time," she admitted to Jamie at the end of the episode. Jamie's response? "I have feelings for you too," and sealed the admission with a kiss!

It certainly took you two long enough. Fast-forward to the season 8 finale, and the duo finally announced what viewers had been waiting for. Jamie brought Eddie to a family dinner where he revealed to the rest of the Reagans that Eddie would soon be known as "The future Mrs. Jameson Reagan."

Okay, Eddie hasn't walked down the aisle (yet!) but the nuptials are approaching. During season 9, the couple decided on a venue, Eddie chose her dress, and all that's left is for the love birds to meet at the altar.
