A new clip shows what’s to come in episode 10

The Challenge: USA episode 10 continues to showcase the cutthroat nature of the competition. In episode 9, Desi and Danny were at odds when they were paired together and won the daily challenge. While Desi hoped to throw a formidable competitor like Angela into the arena, Danny hoped to protect Angela from elimination. Together, they settled on throwing Cashay in against Sarah — and Sarah came out on top. This will surely throw a wrench in Sarah and Danny’s alleged alliance, as Sarah didn’t want to compete against Cashay.

So, what’s to come in episode 10? The Challenge: USA Twitter page posted a short clip of the daily challenge, which involves building a bridge on a moving truck using pegs. Competitors must move across the truck as quickly as possible to get to the front of the vehicle. Falling off the truck disqualifies competitors and potentially sends them into elimination. Additionally, there’s a twist. Each competitor can place six pegs on the truck wherever they want before they begin traversing.

Host T.J. Lavin also tells the cast that it’s a men’s elimination day, so they need to step it up to ensure they don’t land in the arena.

So, who goes home inepisode 10? According to The Challenge: USA spoilers from PinkRose posted to Reddit, David Alexander leaves the competition next.

David got his start on Big Brother, and he’s managed to keep a relatively low profile throughout the season. Unfortunately, it seems his luck runs short in episode 10. It’s unclear whether he loses the daily challenge and gets sent into the elimination this way, or the winners of the daily challenge send him in to compete against the loser.

With David eliminated in episode 10, this serves as the last male elimination of the season before the finale. The Challenge: USA spoilers suggest there’s one more female elimination left before the competitors head to the final.

‘The Challenge: USA’ finale is coming next, and spoilers report plenty of drama

The Challenge: USA spoilers posted to Reddit indicate the finale proves incredibly difficult for the competitors. According to the spoilers, the remaining competitors reportedly run the final over two days. The weather conditions allegedly make running the final even more difficult than originally anticipated, and at least one competitor (Angela) quits. Rumors suggest Angela quits during the overnight segment. Ben makes it to the finale and then disqualifies due to injury, adding to the rumors of the dangers ahead.

Spoiler guru PinkRose notes they believe only one team finishes the entire finale out of all of the competitors who make it there. We look forward to seeing what’s to come.

The Challenge: USA airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.

Spoiler alert: This article contains significant spoilers for Season 1 of The Challenge: USA.

The first season of The Challenge: USA has officially premiered, and the cast members are battling it out in teams to try to win the $500,000 prize money — and a spot on The Challenge: Global Championship.

The competitors are bringing the physical and social game strengths they first learned by appearing on either Big Brother, Love Island USA, Survivor, or The Amazing Race.

Though the CBS series is a spinoff of MTV's The Challenge, there are a few key differences between the two shows. To make it to the final on The Challenge: USA, the players must amass $5,000 in their individual bank accounts.

In order to add money to their respective tills, the contestants must either win a challenge or win an elimination. Therefore, it's impossible for a competitor to coast to the final (which has happened before on past seasons of the MTV show).

Unsurprisingly, on the July 6 premiere, alliances began to form, and many stars wanted to stay loyal to other alums from their original programs. However, difficult decisions had to be made as the eliminations kicked off right away. Now that it's an individual game, alliances are coming into play in a big way.

Though future pairings will be random on The Challenge: USA, host TJ Lavin announced that the stars were able to pick their own partners on the series premiere. Cely paired up with fellow Love Island star Javonny, and the competitors were then asked to solve a series of equations while repelling down a building.

The competitors performed well together, but they didn't win, which meant that they were vulnerable to being chosen for elimination.

Big Brother housemate Angela Rummans and Survivor winner Tyson Apostol, who won the challenge, selected the Love Island-ers to go up against Big Brother alums Azah Awasum and Kyland Young in the elimination.

Unfortunately for Cely and Javonny, the Big Brother stars were faster at unraveling the rope in the elimination. The two were the first to be sent home on the season.

During the "Knot So Fast" elimination, Javonny and Cely continued to struggle to work together well as a team. The two bottom teams had to carry a rope through a pyramid structure to create a knot that would be difficult for the other team to untangle.

At first, it seemed like Azah and Kyland would be too tired to finish the task, but they were ultimately able to find the strength to get through the rope.

In the second episode, the algorithm paired the Big Brother alum with Cashel. However, Tiffany's flirting with one-time fling Cinco Holland rubbed some of her fellow competitors the wrong way, and it became clear that she would need a challenge victory to stay out of the elimination.

When Tiffany and Cashel failed to win in "Yeah Buoy," their names were on the chopping block. After they lost the elimination, they became the second team from The Challenge: USA to go home.

The Love Island star was paired up with Tiffany, so he had a target on his back when the other competitors realized that she was the glue holding the Big Brother alliance together. After Tyson and Justine won the challenge, they chose to send Cashel and Tiffany in against the losing duo, Cayla and James.

During "Knowledge Is Powered," the bottom two teams were neck and neck throughout. However, The Amazing Race duo pulled out the win, sending Tiffany and Cashel packing.

5. Tasha Fox

For the main challenge, "Hang on, Man," the competitors had to build a staircase in order to get to the top of a storage container, and then play an epic game of Challenge hangman.

After James put one bag on Tasha's bar during the hangman game, it hit the ground, and the two promptly lost. As the losers of the challenge, Tasha and James were automatically sent to elimination.

Challenge winners Kyland and Angela picked Domenick and Cashay to go against James and Tasha.

James landed in the bottom for the second week in a row, but he wasn't able to win the elimination this time around. He and Tasha lost out to Dom and Cash in "Plug and Play." James decided to go in the water to release blocks for his partner, but the two weren't as quick as their fellow competitors.

7. Shan Smith

Who goes home on the challenge

Everyone expected Shan to go far in The Challenge: USA after her performance on Survivor, but her reputation preceded her. We would've loved to see more of her, especially after some of her Episode 4 cutting confessionals, but alas, she and Xavier lost the elimination challenge. They went up against Justine and David in "Smash In, Puzzle Out," in which teams had to break panes of glass to receive puzzle pieces and then put the puzzle together.

8. Xavier Prather

The Big Brother alum had everyone in The Challenge: USA on edge since he backstabbed his entire Big Brother alliance on their show. His pairing with the notoriously deceptive Pastor Shan was deadly for both of them (in the game, of course), and winning team Alyssa and Kyland decide to send Xavier and Shan to the elimination challenge.

9. Azah Awasum

During the swimming-based pre-elimination challenge, "Barreled Treasure," the Big Brother 23 housemate and her partner, Cinco Holland Jr., came in last place.

The partners were automatically sent to the elimination, and they decided not to tell winners Tyson and Cashay Proudfoot (Cinco's ex) who they wanted to go against.

The winners went for a blindside move by picking Sarah Lacina and Leo Temory, thus breaking up the strong Survivor alliance, but Azah and Cinco still lost.

Though the challenge winners wanted Cinco and Azah to beat Sarah and Leo in the elimination, the former pair's strategy wasn't as strong in "A Dark Turn."

Leo and Sarah completed the elimination quickly while working well together under pressure. Azah and Cinco, on the other hand, let the stress of the challenge get to them, and they weren't able to really keep up.

Cinco and Azah's decision not to name names during the deliberation ended up backfiring, and they were the fifth pair to be eliminated.

Desi and David pulled out the win in the first challenge on the sixth episode, but they decided to make a pretty easy choice when it came to the elimination challenge. Enzo and Justine decided to disqualify after they couldn't make the rope swing, so they were automatically sent to elimination.

Love Island-er Shannon made it known during the first challenge that she pulled a muscle, so it was more difficult for her to compete in the elimination.

12. Derek Xiao

Instead of mixing things up, Desi and David decided to throw Derek and Shannon into the elimination to get one of the weaker teams out.

The final challenge came down to seconds between the two teams, but Enzo and Justine were able to pull out the win and prove that they aren't so weak after all. Derek left in tears, but he was at least happy he got revenge on the Big Brother Cookout alliance.

13. Kyra Green

Who goes home on the challenge

The algorithm paired the Love Island USA alum up with Big Brother's Kyland during the seventh week of the competition. Domenick and Cayla, who won the car challenge earlier on in the episode, selected Kyland and Kyra to go up against the losing duo, Leo and Alyssa.

Though Leo had questioned his place on the show and he had debated leaving early, he managed to work well with Alyssa during the "Ball and Chain" elimination.

14. Kyland Young

Based on his performance on Big Brother 23, Kyland appeared to be an early frontrunner to potentially win the $500,000 prize on The Challenge USA.

Unfortunately, he was sent home at the end of the Aug. 17 episode. During "Ball and Chain," the two losing pairs were tasked with finding trivia questions, and then carrying heavy medicine balls with the answers over a wall.

The elimination proved to be both mentally and physically taxing, and Leo and Alyssa managed to find the sixth and final correct answer before Kyland and Kyra did.

15. Leo Temory

Though the debut season of the series was all about team challenges, that all changed at the beginning of the Aug. 24 episode. TJ confirmed that the remaining competitors would be finishing out the season as individuals, which got them all excited about the end of the much-dreaded algorithm.

Leo performed well in the "Having a Blast" pre-elimination challenge, but he narrowly missed out on the victory to Ben Driebergen. During the "Hall Brawl" elimination, winners Ben and Angela decided to throw Leo in (since, as an Amazing Race star, he wasn't part of either the Survivor or Big Brother alliance) to go against Enzo.

Leo lost the elimination in two rounds, and he was less than pleased afterward.

16. Cashay Proudfoot

In an epic episode, Danny and Desi won the first challenge to officially qualify for the final. However, as alliances strengthen, Alyssa and Angela worked together to force Sarah into the elimination challenge.

But because Danny is aligned with Alyssa and Angela, although he wanted to make Sarah happy, he forced Cashay into the elimination challenge. It was a running challenge, which should have been Cashay's strong suit, but Sarah came out on top ... and with a vengeance.

17. David Alexander

Who goes home on the challenge

With barely any screen time, it isn't a surprise that David was eliminated in this episode of The Challenge. Although Tyson was worried that he lost the first challenge, David was the man who came in last place. When Angela and Ben won, with Angela being the only competitor to even finish the challenge, they decided to put Enzo in the elimination challenge.

Many people were upset about this — some because Angela is also from Big Brother, and others because they knew Ben didn't want to put in his buddy. However, Enzo pulled it out and crushed David in a brutal physical elimination in which they had to fight against each other to get a ball in the basket.
