I was close to pity and spent some money on gems to pull on the normal banner, i got jean and the skyward pride in the same pull, which i guess is really lucky.

But is the weapon any good, and if so on whom? i use diluc and xinyan mostly as claymore users

It's the second or third best Claymore in the game due to it's high base attack and decent effect.

So unless you have Wolf's Gravestone or The Unforged, it's great on Diluc or really any claymore user except maybe Noelle.

The Skyward Pride is currently the individually most damaging claymore in the game and will likely remain a top contender, if not always remain the best claymore as such unless the devs come up with an extraordinarily broken crit-based Claymore with an even more OP weapon effect than the Pride's effect.

The giga whales (thousands upon thousands and thousands of dollars spent on the 5* claymores alone) explain and demonstrate why on the following Xinyan-based video (although the weapon itself is the real star here), but the tl;dr is that the Skyward Pride's weapon effect adds a monumental volume of bonus damage that happens to be critable and that can scale with Physical DMG%, while the Energy Recharge is the icing on the cake.

It's third best at r1.. But at r5 it will be the best claymore (better than wolf grave and the shield claymore) .

If they have a Skyward pride and blade banner I'm planning to whale out r5 for both.. If there's a Skyward Harp banner I'm gonna r5 my Harp (which is currently r3).
