I guess there is no option to do this? You'd think you should be able to reset stuff like amount of steps taken on Garmin Connect. I made a mistake to sync it over but it should be possible to remove the data synced imo... Just like you can remove an activity that you have synced if you dont want it there anymore! Unless the activity is a duplicate, just flag/note/name it as fiddling with settings and move on, but it was still a legit activity, even if you were testing a device. I'm a data purest though, so unless the data is somehow fraudulent, I want it there even if I was just testing/calibrating. Segments don't publicly show unless the activity privacy default is set to everyone - I like seeing what segments I have crossed and if I want to be ranked, I switch the activity to everyone. Otherwise my privacy default is connections only, meaning I see I crossed a segment, but strangers do not. This gives me the best of both worlds - I find desirable segments and still keep my privacy for the majority of my activities. As Jim said, for most people, 125 steps is such a small number of steps that as you use your device, it will become like a grain of sand on a beach. It really won't matter in the long run.
