    hey guyz,i know rice is rich of complex carbohydrates,but the problem is i dont know how much should i consume in a meal (lunch). what i mean is should i eat half a plate of rice or a whole plate of rice my wieght is about 150 pds and am plannig to consume about 30 to 40 carbs per meal (i am talking about lunch mainly). thanks guyz appreciate your help

    depends on how many meals your splitting your diet into. for six meals
    35-40g of carb per meal should be enough for your weight.

    3/4cup(cooked) should be about right.

    I have 2 cups in a meal MAX. (cooked measurement)

    Usually just the 1 cup.

    1 cup = 240ml.

    If you don't have the proper cup measuring utilities, then your standard (slim) tea cup usually equates to the same.

    try only eating white rice after a workout, because when digesting it turns to sugar in your stomach. try eating brown rice instead its made from wheat

    to make sure there is no confusion, i think jd was saying that the only time u should eat white rice is right after workout otherwise stick to brown rice
